John Travolta claims alleged blackmailers planned to blame him for Jett's death.
Travolta told the court that although he was not in touch with the two men, he learned about the proposed extortion from his intermediaries.
Unless he coughed up hush money, he said, Bridgewater and Lightbourne would go public with a document he signed that withheld treatment for Jett at a local hospital.
Travolta explained that he initially wanted his son flown to Florida for treatment after his son suffered a seizure at their vacation home in the Bahamas.
Both defendants have pleaded not guilty.

That is really messed up. There are some really evil people out there. I know its hard and I really think its good what John Travolta is doing making sure these people dont slip through the cracks.

I have a sneaky suspicion nastyness all around as Im betting the reason that travolta was being blackmailed is that the paramedics were trying to prove the travoltas werent medicaly treating thier son, as anti-medicine is a stable of scientology (google it and tomcruise/brook shields controversy). Whats suspicious is before this came out travolta hurridly cremeated his son, i thought it was suspicious moreso hearing he was blackmailed, the reason being possibly no body=no evidence=no body to autopsy to find if the travoltas were neglecting medical treatment for jet if jet had a treatable ailment.
so creepyness all around and another reason i stay away from organized religions lol.
