DJ AM agreed to go to rehab the day before his death
DJ AM met with his recovery sponsor the day before his death and admitted that that had relapsed.
He also agreed to go to back to rehab.
Adam Goldstein (his real name) promised his manager and sponsor that after his gig in Las Vegas last
Friday, he would check himself into a rehab in California.
The cause of death won't be determined for several weeks when toxicology
reports come back.
All we can hope is that his shocking death will remind other recovering addicts that relapsing is the highway to the morgue.

Plagued by his own demons and having cheated death once before, I am saddened that he succumbed to his drug addiction. Let this be a lesson to his celebrity friends who are still struggling with their sobriety.

This is so sad...He seemed like a very good man. He has had alot of things go wrong in his life. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends and his girlfriend poor girl. There has been alot of negative things said about her. She is dealing with a death of someone she loved.
