So Katie Holmes thinks she can design? Another bad career move
Katie Holmes apparently thinks she can dance and design clothes.
Not so fast, little lady.
Holmes, desperately trying to find a viable career (marathon runner, doing Broadway plays, sitcom guest star, hoofing on "So You Think You Can Dance?" making bad comedy films such as "Mad Money"), is reportedly ready to unveil her new line, Holmes & Yang.
This is the clothing collection she's designed with her stylist, Jeanne Yang.
According to WWD, their "premium designer" line -- classic women's and children's wear -- will launch exclusively at -- where else -- Maxfield in Los Angeles for fall.
That's the super high-end store on Melrose where only rock stars and their wives (and girlfriends) can afford to shop.
Maybe she's starting there for prestige? But it's a bad idea in this economy. She'll have to design a line for Target if she plans on making money in fashion.
Just ask all the other designers who have affordable lines there.
Can a guest appearance on "Project Runway" be far off?

Is that a typo.. I've seen their designs and I'm pretty sure it should be called Hurl and Yack.
hmmmm and did she really run that marathon.
More power to Katie. The only one making bad moves after bad moves is the L.A. Times losing subcribers and you're sounding like trash blogs than real news.
Since when is Broadway a bad career move?
Katie doing that Fox dance show to promote the foundation for the least priviledged is also a bad thing?
she's a beauty and versatile talent! Cant wait!!
WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE SOMEONE'S DREAM?
She, like anyone else, deserves to try whatever and whoever she wishes to be.
Elizabeth Snead, you are pathetic. If you envy that you're not lucky as she is, at least keep it for yourself, and try to write something positive.
I hope it will be available online.

Get a grip, moron! Katie has no talent and not much future aside from being a wife and a mother.
I think she's wonderful and this sounds exciting. Leave her alone. What a mean unprofessional gossipy site.
Sounds like the author of this article is jealous of Katie. No doubt you're probably not as fit, attractive and talented as she is, so you have to write about her and diss her. Bye.
