Friends and admirers of DJ AM have been tweeting all afternoon about the shocking death of Adam Goldstein.
He was found dead in his Soho apartment with drug paraphernalia scattered about.
Miraculously, just a year ago, he had jumped through a fireball to survive a small-plane crash that killed four people on board.
Here are some farewell tweets from his peeps, including Paris Hilton, Ryan Seacrest, Katy Perry, John Mayer, Demi Moore and Perez Hilton.
@parishilton Adam and I were friends since I was 15. He had a heart of gold and was one of the kindest, funniest and most talented men I have ever met.

L.Lohan asks, "why, why"? The answer is easy LL...."Drugs, Drugs" how many deaths from drug abuse is it going to have to take to make people understand that their body is a Temple and has to be treated as one. I feel for DJ and family and friends of, but come on guys.....at what point?
So sorry about the loss of this young and talented gentleman, deepest respect to his family and all his friends. Remembering GOD does things according to his purpose and plans and we have to take them is stride and accept them.
This doesn't make sense. Life is so precious. R.I.P.

Condolence to this young man's friends and family.If his death was the result of drugs,then WAKE UP SOCIETY!!! You are the captain of your body. It's like the director of a movie. You determine what type of foods, liquids, good or bad drugs that you put inside of your system.You have the power to direct your life in a positive or negative direction. Hopefully, DJ Jam is at peace while spinning soft tunes in heaven with GOD.

It's a damn shame and makes me wonder if there is some kind of curse that goes with reality TV profiteering on the gift of recovery. We of less fabulous recovery like to say 'help others for fun and for free'.
