Ryan O'Neal hits on his daughter Tatum at Farrah Fawcett's funeral
Ryan O'Neal admits that he was so frazzled at Farrah Fawcett's funeral that he hit on his own daughter, Tatum O'Neal.
"They had just put the casket in the hearse and I was watching it drive away when a beautiful blonde woman comes up and embraces me," Ryan tells Vanity Fair. "I said to her, 'You have a drink on you? You have a car?' She said, 'Daddy, it's me -- Tatum!' I was just trying to be funny with a strange Swedish woman, and it's my daughter. It's so sick."
But the bigger question is whether Ryan's devotion to Farrah in her last days was just an act.
His son Redmond thinks it was.
"All those crocodile tears! ... My dad's only goal was to make sure he would be in the will," Redmond tells Vanity Fair. "It was so disgustingly transparent as soon as he found out she was terminal. I consider him a vulture presiding over a carcass. Ryan thought he was going to get everything."
Farrah reportedly left almost her entire estate to Redmond. And nothing to Ryan.
Both Tatum and her brother Griffin O'Neal also speak to Vanity Fair of Ryan's failures as a father, his rages and his drug use.
"My father is afraid of me because I know the truth," Griffin says. "That's the part that absolutely scares him to death." Griffin suggests that the family's problems might have something to do with the fact that Ryan plied his children with drugs -- "My father gave me cocaine when I was 11 and insisted I take it. ... He was violent all the way through my upbringing," says Griffin. "He was a very abusive, narcissistic psychopath. He gets so mad he can't control anything he's doing."

Tatum wrote a book about her childhood, much to her father's annoyance.
"No parent wants to hear their kid saying [awful] things about them. ... But what I wrote in the book was true. I've got a battle with drugs, but I'm a strong, independent person, and I fight for myself, and my father and I butt heads. When I was 16 years old, he and Farrah moved in together, and after that I saw my dad periodically, and that took a long time for me to get over."
About being hit on by her dad, Tatum sighs and says: "That's our relationship in a nutshell. You make of it what you will." It had been a few years since we'd seen each other, and he was always a ladies' man, a bon vivant."
The documentary, "Farrah's Story," about the actress' fight against anal cancer, has been nominated for an Emmy and there will be a tribute to her during the Sept. 20 awards show.

Unreal, why is she the one that died with cancer and this pig lives. He just got done loading her casket , he should be black-balled from hollywood.
This is not about the fact he hit on his daughter "by mistake" (she was probably wearing sunglasses) so what? This is about the fact he was hitting on a "beautiful blonde" right after the hearse rolled away. SHE WASN"T EVEN BURIED YET! My God! What is wrong with him. Ryan is a cold hearted (Tatum said it) PSYCHOPATH!! I am sooo glad Farrah did not leave him a dime. I truly hope her son gets out of jail and straightens himself out and doesn't let his father touch one dime of HIS money.
Keep the faith Redmond, sounds like you are a victim of an abusive father, don't let him win. Take the high road.
Ryan, you are just a drunken loser. You proved that in the documentary. You are a sorry excuse for a father. No wonder Farrah never married you.

I do NOT believe Alana is "living off Farrah's limelight", BUT I do believe Ryan O'Neal IS milking this for all he can. He and Joe Jackson are cut from the same cloth.
My two boys were walking on La Costa beach in Malibu on Sunday August 2, when Ryan invited them up onto his deck. My wife and I went to get them and Ryan said, "its a good thing because I was just about to give them drugs." We thought he was joking, but after reading this article, we realize just how sick this man really is.
Until cocaine is legalized, anyone who uses it is supporting some of the most evil gangsters on earth, and is complicit in their crimes. Period.
Alana Stewart is her friend, I think its hard to fake a friendship. Alana isnt gaining anything by Farrah passing, she has no ulterior motives to show she is by Farrahs side xcept maybe 2 show the world what close friends they were. Ryan had everything to gain. He was showing every female n America he was going to b single & rich, so he thought(ha) he's going 2 milk the emotional,distraught grieving widower role til another woman falls for it. Watch for him to go to hospices and hit on dying woman and ask them to marry him so he can fight to get in their wills n case they leave him out. See she didn't marry him @ the end cuz she knew tht she left Redmond everything & if she married Ryan he wud try to fight Redmond for majority of the will citing he is a alcohol&drug addict & is in no way shape or form able to handle the responsiBility of his late moms estate. Ryan wud have tried to take Redmond to court to b power of attorney or anything that wud mKe him in control over farrahs estate while Redmond is n jail and serving time. RyN wudnt gve Redmond a nickle and wud mke it hard 4 him to get back control of his moms estate & by the time he wud hve straightened up Ryan wud have spent all her money on booze,drugs,women & butt plugs. Farrah already knew whAt wud happen if she said yes so she went ahead and died first
