Reality star Ryan Jenkins flees on foot to Canada. The manhunt is on!

Alg_ryan-alexander_jasmine-fiore-1 Reality TV star millionaire Ryan Alexander Jenkins -- a suspect in his Playboy model wife's slaying -- has reportedly escaped to Canada on foot.

Law enforcement authorities in Washington state now tell the L.A. Times that they believe Jenkins -- a Canadian citizen -- has crossed the border heading north.

California police wanted to talk to him about the strangulation death of his wife, model Jasmine Fiore. Her body was found in a suitcase tossed in a dumpster in Orange County last weekend.

Customs tells TMZ that Jenkins, a real-life Canadian millionaire and a contestant on "Megan Wants a Millionaire" and "I Love Money 3," is a "potential suspect" in her killing. TMZ reports that he may be eventually headed to Honduras, where he developed a resort property. And he does own a jet.

The two married five months ago in a quickie Vegas wedding. See more details at People.com. Ironically, the show on VH1 that featured him on an intimate date (with a passionate kiss) with Megan just aired last week.

But the network has announced that the show is now off the air.

"Given the unfortunate circumstances, VH1 has postponed any future airings. This is a tragic situation and our thoughts go out to the victim's family," says a statement from the network.

i cant not believe it . y cant they just get on wit their life and not murder someone ! give peace to the world plz !

The fact that this guy was on this sorry spin-off "reality" show is evidence of irresponsibility on the part of the producers. According to the LAT story today, not only was Jenkins MARRIED, but he had been CONVICTED of assault (against a woman) and had been charged with BATTERY against his late wife in JUNE (apparently only two months ago - maybe while the show was in production). It is almost unbelievable that someone with a history of violence against women would be CHOSEN to perform in a show that is intended to encourage conflict and places him in close contact with, not only Megan, but very likely, female staff members and VH1 employees. Obviously, this show and probably similar "reality" shows are not able to conduct even a simple background check. The fact that the guy was married is SO BASIC that one assumes that Jenkins was either scripted out of the show from the start OR that the producers "overlooked" this slight flaw maybe expecting that , in case Megan chose him, his marriage would be revealed, further humiliating Megan and getting some publicity for this weak show. OR, maybe they would have also revealed the assault charges too so that Megan appeared to be so dumb and insensitive that she chose a married criminal who was a danger to her (and other women) over legitimate players! It is unthinkable that the producers knew Jenkins' violent history, but they must have at least known that he was married! I never thought that Megan would become a sympathetic character! Meanwhile, the producers have a lot to answer for as perhaps they contributed to this guy's attitude that he could get away with anything with impunity.

In what way was the airing of the VH1 show last week "ironic"?

Wow, really... this guy is a Reality TV "Star"?? I would think one has to do more than appear in a couple episodes of two lousy series' in order to "earn" that title.

only thing I could see that thing modeling would be shoes

PLEASE USE IRONICALLY CORRECTLY! THE USEAGE IN THE FOLLOWING IS INCORRECT. WHAT IS DESCRIBED IS COINCIDENCE!

I'm not a Christian, but the love of money truly IS the root of all evil.. these money-worshipping reality shows are nausea inducing. I weep for humanity..

Do they extradition from Honduras?

Do not think he will get away with it

if he did kill her

Did this guy "win" one of these "game shows" he was on, both of which were most likely crap, on a crap network? If not, why is he being called a "star"? Aren't stars people most of us know? Cripes, this is why everyone wants to be on TV because they become "stars" even if the show is on local access.
