Killer removed Jasmine Fiore's teeth, fingers, before stuffing her in a suitcase
The news about the murder of swimsuit model Jasmine Fiore is more and more horrifying. She'd been beaten, strangulated and crushed, according to CBS News, which also reports that her teeth and fingers had been removed before she was stuffed into a suitcase and left in a dumpster. Ryan Jenkins is now considered a suspect in her murder. And there's an international manhunt going on for the man who may be armed with a handgun. Fiore, a former swimsuit model, and Jenkins were married in a quickie Las Vegas wedding on March 18. But they had been fighting in recent months. He was reportedly jealous of her past boyfriends, according to her mother, who told CBS that her daughter had had their marriage annulled. Prosecutors said the two checked into a San Diego hotel last Thursday, and Jenkins checked out the next morning. Fiore was not seen alive again. "He convinced her ... that he was really the guy for her," Lepore said. "He wrote poems and stories, and prayed, and [claimed he] had this huge spiritual awakening." Horrible, unthinkable crime. Mutilation (removal of teeth and fingers) was probably an attempt to make the body, which the killer thought would end up in a landfill, unidentifiable since dental records and fingerprints would be of no use if the remains were decomposed. He obviously didn't plan for the chance occurrence that someone would be looking through bins for items that could be recycled for cash. Jenkins apparently reported her missing, but my guess is that before the cops could interview him, he learned that the body was found and at that point, he fled. His original plan was probably to file a missing person report, head back to Canada and then move, if necessary, to Honduras (I think that's where he was supposed to have property), in case the body was somehow discovered and ID'd later (maybe in months or years). I also wonder if he was the winner on "Megan Wants..."? How this guy could escape the background check when he had an assault (on a woman) conviction is really troublesome. BTW, there is a slight possibility that the strangulation of Fiore was accidental, but since TMZ is a "family" site, I won't speculate why that's possible. You figure it out. Jealous rage is much more likely however.
