'Idol' judge Kara DioGuardi hopes Paula Abdul will 'reconsider' quitting
Kara DioGuardi is "completely shocked" that Paula Abdul is leaving "American Idol."
She told Ryan Seacrest: "It's such a loss for the show, such a loss for the contestants. She's definitely the heart of the panel."
"I'm hoping she'll reconsider. I've left her a lot of messages."
Kara said she's no replacement for Paula. "I never was here to replace her. It would be impossible to replace Paula Abdul. She's an incredible talent. If anything, she was really somebody who helped me."
Upcoming guest judge Victoria Beckham also spoke to Ryan and promised she'd play nice.
"I want to be nice to people," Posh said. "I know how it feels to be stood there and be judged and how it can feel when nerves get the better of you, and I don't want to shatter anybody's dream."

together. They make the show fun.
The chemistry between Paula and Simon is irreplaceable. That's the entertainment. Paula makes us laugh. She's the compassionate nurturing side of the show. It's a mistake to let go of Paula. Sure someone can fill up the seat but it will not be the same for the loyal devoted fans of the show. Especially that Kara has been re-signed without Paula. Better change all except Simon. Get judges with wit and humor and unpredictable. Kara and Randy are very predictable and humorless and no wit. No entertainment value. And most of all, change the voting system that it's the deserving who should win. Let the judges have a say not only the voting public. AI is losing it's audience. After ADAM shaking AI last season, AI will be a letdown. With no Paula this coming season and IF there's no change in the voting system, G-bye AI.
Many of us will be leaving Idol with Paula. Bring us all back.
Good riddance, I'm tired of watcing her drug induced antics. It sets a bad example for kids, you may as well say that drug addiction is ok. Not to mention she was always trying so hard to be liked that she NEVER gave any real constructive critisism. Add to the fact she was always slamming Simon when lets face it without him there is NO show...He is the only one who tells it like it is, he doesn't give people false hope
The ball is clearly in AI's court. If they were smart, they'd get out their checkbook!
I want Simon out of the panel. He brings rudeness and disrespect, which none of the contestants deserve. True, Paula is the heart of the show. She is the one who builds dreams and gives the most inspiring comments. Sure, there are people who need reality check, but Simon's style is heart-crushing and brutal to a point. In a world of ambitions, Simon has no place. His intention is to inflict painful humor, which does well for ratings but stabs these young singers to the core. Considering the coverage and popularity of this show, some of these contestants are forever scarred. Kara is a welcome addition as, together with Paula, she offsets the cheerless and condescending mood that Simon brings to the show. I hope Paula comes back and Simon resigns instead.

I'm afraid AI Is going to lose a large persentage of their audience if Paula doesn't return. You know this show has to be rolling in the dough. Come on, cough it up. She's more than worth it and you will be losing more than you'll save by letting her go.
Paula needs to come back cause she shows the contestants that there is still hope even if there performance was really bad she doesnt put them down like the british guy that she sits next to which is good. Simon on the other hand he can be rude and a jerk at times but you know what he's just telling it like it is he's representing how hard it is to get into the music industry.I dont know what the heck Randy and Kara's purpose on the show is but you know what they are gonna be there rather we like it or not. ok now RYAN should not be there I dont even think the producers should have even considered paying him more than they were paying paula I mean come on now he's being paid more than paula and he's just a pain in the *** come on now fox get it together. In the end I really hope paula comes back to the show all though I have no doubt that simon is trying to fight to bring her back to the show cause who else is he going to flirt with...randy...lol.
Without Paula, I really have no interest in watching the show, sad to say. It will just be a shell of itself without her. Goodbye, American Idol. Worst decision ever, not to give Paula the $ she wanted.
