What passes for talent these days is anything with enough hype, plaster and shellac.
Miley Cyrus is too young to be pole dancing, and obviously just as lousy at that as she is at singing.
The problem isn't Miley, who has a right to be an artist and to grow up...however...I fault the STUPID, STUPID PARENTS who allow their kids to watch this stuff in the first place...to have some Disney show kid in trashy clothes to become their *role model* to begin with! 15 year old girls are NOT into Miley Cyrus....8 YEAR OLDS ARE! As a parent, you KNOW she is going to grow up faster than your child, and then what??? Now you're stuck trying to explain to your 9 year old daughter why her hero is pole dancing in short shorts and it's something you do NOT want her doing any time soon! GROW UP PARENTS and STOP allowing your kids to be shaped by TV networks whose ONLY motivation for doing anything at all is PROFIT. I worked as a designer in the Entertainment Industry for years (TV animation) and I won't let my kids near TV. So stop complaining, turn OFF your TV...NO just because everyone else is doing it doesn't mean your kids have to as well...and start parenting!
