Did the constant pressures and public scrutiny of "Jon & Kate plus 8" cause the Gosselin's divorce?
"I feel like it would have happened anyway -- cameras on or cameras off," Kate Gosselin told Meredith Vieira on the "Today" show Monday morning.
"In everybody's life, you make sacrifices," Gosselin said, about still being on the show. "Everybody has to work. Everybody has a job. Ours is a very unique job," adding, "I still feel like this is a good thing. It's healthy. And the kids would agree."
Sure. Because they like food.
Gosselin still wears her wedding ring but she feels a sense of failure, adding, "It's necessary. It has to take place."
To questions about Jon's affairs during their marriage, she was vague and non-committal. She did comment about his dating the daughter of her plastic surgeon, Hailey Glassman: "I was shocked, but those things... to be very honest, that's his life and they don't affect me directly at this point."
She said she couldn't recall exactly when that loser, er, Jon moved out of their Pennsylvania house.
Rise above, Kate. Jon's behavior is manna from heaven for your formerly Wicked Witch of the West rep.

Can't we just look around our own homes and hood for that? I mean, why tune in every week to see a divorced couple, not a happily married one?

I guess we will never know for sure if they would of stayed together if there hadn't been a TV show involved in their daily lives. I don't think Jon was crazy about the reality show idea from the start but figured it would only last a few years not as long as it has.
Elizabeth Snead seems like quite the man-hater. You can't tell me Kate Gosselin didn't get caught-up in the limelight and it turned her head, changed her into someone else, and helped destroy the marriage. Yep, blame it all on the guy. Then again, wasn't that Kate I saw on an episode of American Chopper hanging out with fat Mikey?
I do not feel look watching the show again. Until I see the whole family together.

lets be serious... i have only seeen the show probably 15-20 times, and i can say this much, i know those 2 were under a lot of stress and stuff, but i would never have let that woman treat me the way she treated john..... she was a total control freak, and talked down to him. it wasnt cause of the tv show, it was cause of her. I wonder if she ever watched the show and saw how she made herself look?
As usual she avoids any direct questions. Can you really tell me you don't know when your husband moved out? Slipped your mind the day he had enough and left? Or you never really paid attention if he was there or not?

She is trying to make herself out to be the martyr and we all know that is not her. It made me sick to watch her trying to look all sweet and innocent and the submissive wife that was done wrong. She wasn't able to answer the question about how his decisions affect the kids....again full of CRAP

jon and kate have exploited their children for their own monetary gain. tummy tucks, hair transplants, extravagant vacations, new mansion, teeth whitening, spa vacations for kate, chefs, nannies, new cars...and the list goes on. jon and kate need to go out and get real jobs. what kind of values are they teaching their kids? have lots of kids to get a show on tv and never have to get a job? kate has some real mental problems and seems unstable. jon had to put up with that in private and then on tv. her control over him and constant beratement of him was humiliating and cruel. kate get help and get a job!
