'Twilight's' Robert Pattinson gets beaten up in New York!
Not to worry, Robert Pattinson fans. That's not real blood. And the paparazzi and Rob's rabid fans didn't attack him.
It's just a scene from his new film "Remember Me" now shooting in NYC.
This little film has to go down in movie history as having the most photos taken -- and released to the public -- during production.
Rob's every scene is being photographed and put on the Web.
We get the promotional aspect of all this media attention. But it may backfire.
By the time the shoot is finished, we're all gonna feel like we've already seen the darn film.
Anyone else agree?

I don't think it will backfire. I really can't wait to see this film. I'm sure a lot of his fans feel the same way.
No way can't wait to see anything with him in it.
I think its actually wetted people's appetite for it. It is a small film so couls so easily have been over looked without all this hullabaloo. Ive read the script so I know the twist. People really arent seeing much of the story via the shots . There will be lots to enjoy and cry over. Its a wonderful script and Rob's role is a good one.
I don't see this backfiring at all. In fact I see this opening at #1. All the people that are going to the sets and watching him film will want to see those locations on screen, and to be able to say they were there is huge. Even if this movie is a critical bomb it'll make money.
I have to point out to people who don't understand how truly loyal Rob's fans are. I've been to 2 days of shooting at diffferent locations, both of which were relatively tame compared to say, yesterday. And still the girls have this look of utter worship and enthrallment, it's weird. I love the guy and think he's hot and all that but I'm not going to fight with his bodyguards to give him roses. Seriously, a woman prob around 22 brought roses to the set in Brooklyn last Thurs. but they won't except gifts. She was really irritating but all I could think was, "maybe she's got a gun". We were maybe 20 feet from Rob when he walked out of this trailer. Think about it.
All the hoopla on this movie , with the pictures and the fans Will NOT backfire. This little movie will make a BIG bang! Sorry to spoil it for you;)
I am feeling so bad for Robert. Think about the preparation he needs to do as a serious actor before a scene. He must get into character, and then he must find the right motivation to convey the emotional connection we, as his loyal fans, have come to admire him for.... On top of all that, hundreds of adoring - if not psychotic - fans are screaming at him between every take for photos, autographs, a smile... He's not a machine, girls!
That's a tremendous amount of pressure for anyone and I daresay Summit has not exactly prepared its young stars for this degree of celebrity. If you all care about Robert so much, you'll back off and leave him some time to bask in his success instead of curse it.
Seriously, this guy pr machine is sick. He's a truly mediocre actor, and the whole fuss about him being hot is ridicolous. Hot? For a 12 years old who can't avoid to detach his movie image from the fantasy of a (mediocre) book series like Twilight, maybe. For the rest of the (sexually aware) female world this guy has a very average face, a nose which is horrible, empty unexpressive eyes, a head twice the size over a body completely untoned and unshaped, and all said and done a very average appearance, losen down by an awful sense of personal style.
But most important, I repeat, he's truly a mediocre actor. This media campaign about him is as annoying as Disney's efforts to make Jonas Brothers relevant.
Useless in the world of art.
Seen these before, got any new?
