Sarah Palin is not the next Rush Limbaugh. But is William Shatner?
There's been a lot of buzz this week about Sarah Palin getting her own radio show on Clear Channel.
Although after watching William Shatner read some of her speeches on Conan O'Brien, we think Capt. Kirk would do better.
But Broadcasting & Cable's Paige Albiniak has already put a damper on Palin's prospects. She says her sources say that Clear Channel has already turned Palin down.
"While you might assume Palin would be a better fit for conservative radio than the less partisan world of syndicated broadcast TV, my sources say the country's biggest radio conglomerate, Clear Channel, has already passed on her."
Their main objection? That Sarah would have to talk for three whole hours a day.
Frankly, we think she'd run out of coherent sentences in 10 minutes. OK, five.
Plus, there's no winking on radio.
Is Sarah better suited to a TV talk show? They can edit a TV talk show. And she could at least set fashion and hair trends. Think of the endorsement deals for high red heels and eyewear!
And lord knows she's a little easier on the eyes than that scrawny Ann Coulter.
What do you think? Radio or TV for Sarah? Or William Shatner?
More Sarah Dish
Sarah Palin is a poet and doesn't know it
Did Sarah Palin quit as governor so she could make more money?

From a radio perspective, Sarah would have the same problem other hosts have had and that is that she is not a professional broadcaster. Do you know how many people started the business at minimum wage, emptying garbage and doing ammeter readings at 1am? No... you need experience young lady.
From a political perspective, she's right on the money.
I think TV would suit her better but I think she'll be running for the senate seat from Alaska when it opens. ...just watch.
Heatshield:
If Palin runs for the Alaskan senate seat, her votes will come from Rush Limbaugh Lemmings that are blind in one eye, and can't see out the other.
This kind of reporting is indicative of the superficiality of the culture we live in and the air time provided to the members of its cult
Palin (and Family) are National Enquirer material, nothing more.
So many people who actually know everything and can unhesitatingly state with certainty that Palin is this, or Palin is that or Palin can't do 3 hours of radio talk....
With so many smart citizens, how come we have a presidunce who is proving on a daily basis that he is more inept than any of his predecessors, except maybe Jimmy Carter?
Who voted for his clown?
