After Tuesday's memorial service, LAPD Chief William J. Bratton would say only, " "We have to keep some secrets."
Sources familiar with the case told the L.A. Times that MJ's body was in safekeeping after being released to the family following the autopsy by the Los Angeles County coroner.
But the other big question is where is Michael Jackson's brain?
L.A. Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter says that Jackson's brain, or at least some of it, is still being held by investigators and would be returned to the family for burial after all the tests are completed.
"As soon as we are done with the brain, we will return it," Winter said. "There is a whole series of tests that will be done."
It is not uncommon for the coroner to hold on to a brain or samples from it. Families sometimes delay burying a loved one until after the brain has been returned.

Even if he's not buried at Neverland now, he can be buried there later. Elvis wasn't buried at Graceland first. HIs body was moved from a cemetery.
There is a major poll running over at www.tinyurl.com/evilgood as to whether Michael Jackson was good or evil. Evil is currently in the lead! I think this poll is being recorded in some sort of record book, anyways, everybody go vote for good!
I think Michael Jackson should not be buried at Neverland! He clearly made a statement when he left there and NEVER went back!! Why would you think he would want to ? I think he should be buried in the cemetery where his grandmother (Katherine's mother) is. If he get's buried at Neverland, then it's all about money!!! I think Michael deserves to rest in peace!! Michael Jackson had an extraordinary talent! He also suffered from Lupus! iIf you study what Lupus is - you will feel very forgiving and sad that he suffered terribly. He took perscription drugs for his pain and got hooked.
Re the $1+ million cost for LA to conduct MJ's funeral in downtown LA: The last time I was transported to hospital by the LAFD Ambulance I received a bill for $900.00. At the time I questioned where our tax dollars were being allocated to. Therefore, it is a no brainer to where the bill for MJ's funeral services should be sent.
Leave Micheal Jackson and his children alone the peole who are so intrested in death should allow him to rest in peace for god sakes he has children that has to grow up without a dad and screw the mom cuz she never did love the kids she only had them for the money and she only wants them back for the money. I also agree that the "mother" should have them as i believe her interest lies in teh money not the children..thats pretty evident.also i like the idea of neverland but at the same time u have to remember how he fled from there and how it wasnt really Michaels sanctuary anymore after such lies were told.It destroyed what peace and freedom he had created there.I just want to see him remain loved by all and respected now as he once was and not dissed.Let him rest in peace and hope for the best for his children,
