Who is Dr. Conrad Murray and what does he know about Michael Jackson's death?

According to TMZ, the Los Angeles Police Department now is reportedly treating the death of Michael Jackson as a homicide.
And they are focusing on Jackson's personal physician of three years, Dr. Conrad Murray.
Who is this guy?
Murray was hired by AEG Live to accompany the pop star to London for his comeback concerts. According to AEG, Michael was adamant that Murray be hired because the singer had a "rapport" with the doctor.
The Los Angeles Times reported that Murray was performing CPR on Jackson when paramedics arrived at his home on June 25, and Murray's car was later towed by police from the home.
Evidence points to the anesthesia drug Propofol as the primary cause of Jackson's death, reports say. Vials of Propofol were found in Jackson's home after he died.
Law enforcement sources say there is already "plenty of powerful evidence" linking Murray as the person who administered the drug to Jackson.
The evidence includes: the Propofol, an IV stand and oxygen tank found in Jackson's home.
Will you be surprised if this dude says Jackson injected himself with this IV drug?

There are many suspicious things about mj's death, including the damage control-laced 911 call. Any number of staff employees, work associates, healthcare professionals or family could have taken advantage of a fellow like mj. Even if Dr. Conrad Murray bobs to the top of the barrel, I would still continue diving into the activities of all others, including AEG and Sony associates. MJ's concert -- do or die -- was a financial bailout opportunity for the City of Los Angeles, London and many distressed companies and individuals in this bad economy. Even the media makes money covering big stories like this. Question to research: Who made money during the long OJ fiasco? Who will benefit from a long drawn out MJ investigation and trial? Cut-to-the-chase: The Jackson vs. Murray Jury will consist of many over-60 retirees -- the only ones who can afford to be off work in this economy. After all is said and done, the good doctor will go free.
This poor guy was in so much pain for so many reasons and not just physical. I would not be surprised to find out he did inject himself with all of these powerful meds.

No I wouldn't be surprised at all, you can be pretty sure that this is going to be used in his defence. Michael has a history of addictions and Conrad will probably say that he was already shooting drugs way before AEG hired him and that he was sworn to secrecy towards his client. Only footage of security cameras can tell what really happened.
tmz states 3 years as personal dr .. well thats wrong already. wish this guy at tmz would get his head outa his azz.. murray was with mj for 3 months ..mj has lupis wich attacks the arterys feeding the heart ..no suprise he has murray around. murrays reputation in vegas is he is a good dr and no bs.
Whether Murray is a good doctor or not...and whether or not MJ was using drugs without Murray's knowledge... Murray should not be prescribing any diprovan to MJ at all. I believe that it was an accident perpetuated by MJ and Conrad. This was an unfortunate tradegy! Something went wrong and I hope that the truth is not hid under the rug.
Conrad Murray has a reputation in medical circles as a bad and immoral doctor. He went to jail once for hitting his girlfriend.. and not to mention he was married to at the time..
