Hope she/he is happy. I feel sorry for the person more than anything else. I dont feel this will bring any additional fullfillment to his/her life.

Chaz looks troubled....he must be going through the mental change from female brain chemistry to male chemistry and that's a VERY volitale part of transition. I've known F2M Transexuals and during that time where the hormones start to change the brain to a male brain, oh my god, all the bad stuff starts to happen. The way his girlfriend is postured looks like she's a little scared of him. The look on his face actually looks like he's on a very intense never-ending roller coaster ride, it must be a hard thing to go through! But then WHY would a woman want to be a MAN??? it's so much better to be a woman in our culture, women are treated a LOT nicer and friendlier, I don't think she's ready for the male posturing thing between guys, that comes with the chemical difference between male and female brains. I grew up a boy and I never got that so I got beat up a lot 'cause I looked like a girl, so I'm female now. If Chaz can handle the difficult parts of the hormonal transition without killing anyone or hitting his girlfriends he should be okay, but this picture tells a scarey story!

As a conservative Republican, my value system leads me to comment that Chaz Bono deserves compassion and respect. Respect for being forced to live a public life through no fault of his own, and for living it in a dignified manner. Compassion for the fact that all human beings who are making an effort to get by in this world without hurting other people deserve our understanding and compassion for dealing with their own personal struggles without blaming anyone else.
