Debbie Rowe wants Michael Jackson's kids to see a shrink. About time.
TMZ has learned the Debbie Rowe -- the ex-wife of Michael Jackson who gave birth to his two oldest children -- has settled her custody issues.
Sources tell TMZ that Rowe agreed Katherine Jackson will be the guardian of all of Michael's children, subject to the judge's approval.
Rowe will get visitation of the two children she had with Michael.
But curiously, Rowe has demanded not money but a psychologist who will visit the children and help them adjust to her.
Isn't that a bit late?
I mean, their father was horribly surgically disfigured; made them wear masks, hoods and cloaks in public for most of their childhood; and appears to have had -- and very possibly died from -- a serious longtime drug addiction.
Now they get a shrink?
File this under "High Time."
What do you think about Debbie's shrink rap? Does this make you think better of her?

Rowe gave up all right to her children long ago for a big check she doesn't deserve to see her children.
Um, she didn't want ANYTHING to do with those kids when Michael was here. What makes her think that she has a right for them to seek psychological help, for them to 'adjust' to her? They don't even know her! That's not something a psychologist can fix. She needed to step her game up, and make an effort to be a mother when she had the chance. These kids aren't 3, they are tweens, they aren't stupid either!
Too late, Debbie Rowe.
i have always felt she was sorry for the deal she made with mj, this confirms it, he can't keep her away from them any longer, and no they aren't 3,just how long did they think they could keep on telling them they had no mother, that'll make you crazy, atleast now someone is caring about these kids, noone did before, only a mother would!!the jackson are ok with the way it's always been!!
I don't really have an opinion on Debbie. I think she's a friend of Michael Jackson.
But Elizabeth Snead's coverage on Michael Jackson makes me sick.
About time to let the man have his rest, don't you think?
I do agree those kids (and the entire family with Michael) needed psychologist long ago to deal with the yellowish media that always tried to ruin our beloved Michael.
You should be ashamed or the tone of this article.
Seriously do you think anyone can deal with the amount of media attacks you write?
Poor children
I don't think it's fair for Debbie Rowe to have visitation to these kids. I think she will disrupt their lives, and she's only wanting to do this with the help of a psychologist to improve her chances of getting them whenever their Grandmother passes. I think they should be left in the care of the family, and I hope they rule that. It was not Michael's wishes for this to happen, and it was not her wish either. She just wants the money and publicity.
Deborah stayed out of the way while Michael was alive because he was a great father to the children. She's stepping in to protect them from a seriously dysfunctional family. I have serious doubts about the parenting skills of Katherine & Joe Jackson. Katherine was there all the time Joe was brutalizing their children - Michael seems to have had it worst. That & being forced to work since he was 5 to support the family, losing his childhood, led to all his problems later.
Joe has considerable influence even if he lives in Las Vegas. The Jacksons aren't the Huxtables. I don't doubt they'll love the children and treat them as well as they know how, but their self-interest might come above the children's.
And I have absolutely zero faith in the Jacksons' ability/acumen/good judgment to handle Michael's money & business wisely. For the children's sake, I hope the judge leaves things as Michael wanted with just Branca/McLain as executors – WITHOUT Katherine as co-executor. What kind of serious person wouldn't agree to keep confidential sensitive multi-million dollar contracts? With Katherine, business will come to a standstill and valuable opportunities to increase the value of the estate for the kids would be lost. I'm afraid the money would be mishandled and be run down quickly with little/nothing left for Prince Michael, Paris, Blanket and the charities. No matter how nicely they word it, Katherine & her lawyers ARE contesting/challenging Michael's will – they're just not calling it that. (I was a legal secretary before I retired.)
You'd think they'd respect Michael's last wishes. He supported the whole family since he was 5. Even when he was stressed out with hundreds of millions of dollars of debts during the last years of his life, wandering from place to place, they were comfortable at the Encino family compound – which he paid for, mortgage, maids, butlers, grounds staff, cars & upkeep, food I'm sure, utilities, etc. They had no means of support except Michael, unless Janet kicked in something.
I have a lot of respect for Deborah asking for a child psychologist to ease her transition into the kids' lives. It's very responsible & considerate – for the kids' sake. I understand Prince Michael & Paris know she's their birth mother, even if she hasn't been in their lives up to now.
Ouch Elizabeth Snead.
Psychologist is a good touch, the kids are probably going to need a hand not with Debbie Rowe but what is crawling out of the woodwork in rumors about their dad. Eventually they will be exposed to all the nonsense. They need to learn to hold their heads high and know that their father was Michael Jackson, no matter the circumstances and that he "loved them more ... most!" and no one can take his love or eternal embrace away from their hearts. No one.
Does this change my opinion of her? No. I've never had a bad opinion of her!
I have always felt that Debbie Rowe was often misunderstood. She is a quiet person who doesn't air issues publicly. As a result, the media makes up assumptions about her.
I'm glad she's demanding counseling. I think they need a lot of help after Michael messed them up by covering their faces---a strange way to be raised. It will be good for her children to have contact with their mother.
