David Arquette and Courteney Cox take another stab at 'Scream 4'
David Arquette let it slip to E! that "Scream 4" is happening and he and Courteney Cox will star in it.
Kevin Williamson is writing the script, Arquette said. "Hopefully Wes Craven is going to direct."
In the original horror film, Arquette played Deputy Dewey Riley and Cox was a B-wordy tabloid television reporter Gale Weathers.
"I fell in love with my wife on 'Scream,' so the opportunity to bring [Dewey] back to life and for my wife to play that really bitchy character again, it's just going to be really fun," Arquette said. "It's just great."
Especially after her TV show "Dirt" dried up and her new series, "Cougar Town," isn't exactly getting rave views.
Frankly, we'd rather see some fresh young faces in "Scream 4." Nothing personal. Just saying...
But we do hope they bring back Drew Barrymore!
Although word is that Nev Campbell already said no.
