Do Spencer and Heidi want off 'I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here'?

Sunday night at the MTV Movie Awards, Holly Montag told the Dish Rag that her sister Heidi Montag was doing great in Costa Rica, that she and Spencer were competing against each other but that they had formed a "secret alliance."

"I know she's gonna win. I have seen my sister build fires and eat ants. ... That was growing up, for fun. She has a much better chance than anyone is giving her credit for," Holly told us on camera.

But this morning, news broke that the newlyweds tried to quit NBC's "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!" the first day they arrived in Costa Rica to shoot the "C-listers in distress" reality show, which premieres today.

"They wanted to be treated like stars," a source on the series told E! News' Ryan Seacrest. "[Spencer] literally thought he and Heidi were staying in a Four Seasons, working out and getting a tan."

The two refused to eat the same food as everyone else and complained about their lower-wattage costars like Janice Dickinson, actors Stephen Baldwin and Lou Diamond Phillips, former NBA player John Salley and "American Idol" castoff Sanjaya Malakar. An NBC exec reportedly had to coax the newlyweds to remain on board.

"I wish they got some real celebrities like K-Fed," Montag reportedly whined.

Hmm. Color us suspicious, but we think we're all being played. Who ya gonna believe, the NBC leak, guaranteed to make us want to watch the show tonight?

Or her sister, who says Heidi has more survival skills than anyone of us can even dream of?

We're going with the family report. Spencer and Heidi aren't quitting, trust us! They are way too smart for that.

Actually, I heard from a crew member that at the wardrobe fitting in Costa Rica, Spencer really did display genuine SHOCK when he found out that the celebs were not returning to their hotel rooms every night after shooting. He immediately got on his phone and left the room all pale faced. True story.

Spencer is a big baby and needs his butt kicked. He thinks he is all that but I have NO IDEA who he is. Tell him that heis a nobody.

I've only watched this show for 10 minutes and I already know this guy (Spencer) is an A**! If we want to see what's wrong with America look no further!

Talk about an entitled jerk.

I'm not a twelve year old. Who are Heidi and Spencer again?

Honestly, their both SO lame. They don't deserve any such fame! They are such scum and have their heads in the clouds where they believe they amount to stars like brad pitt and will smith.. haha... they are so low grade, Id skip an opportunity to even see them in public, grow up montag and pratt, get right, look in a mirror, your no celebrity, your a couple of clowns who draw attention to themselves with your ridiculous class acts. The public finds you quite humorous and pathetic. lol

Bet Janice Dickinson can beat both of them up!

Why anyone cares about these attention starved fake celebrity IDIOTS I'll never know! The fact that people obsess about these RETARDS and not things that actually matter is proof that this country is headed to the crapper!

The whole Spencer/Heidi thing is fake, from their "marriage" to his role as "villain", and everybody knows it; they're obviously just there to draw attention to themselves and their "reality" show. This show will be much more enjoyable when America gets rid of those frauds and lets genuine people like Lou, Frangela, and, yes, Sanjaya compete.

I'm with Mark L. I don't think I can watch this summer entertainment if Spencer & Heidi remain. He is an $#@% and she is a pampered "want to be". He thinks KFed would have been an A-list celeb? God help us if this is where we're headed! I don't pay attention to their show, their insatiable need for publicity or the continuous pics and articles in the rags. Their parents must be awfully proud of their children tonight. Good grief! If this is staged for the dramatic effect on this show then someone at NBC needs to be fired! I'd rather watch reruns or God forbid - cable than this dribble.

By ads of the series, I get the idea that someone in the audience can push a button and a quasi-celeb is eaten by a giant snake.
