Sandra Bullock on getting naked with Ryan Reynolds in 'The Proposal'
Sandra Bullock talks with Elizabeth Snead about all the naked scenes in her new romantic comedy, "The Proposal," costarring Ryan Reynolds, Bettie White and Oscar Nuñez from "The Office."
Surprisingly, Sandy starts by admitting that she hates most romantic comedies.
"They're bad, you know, and they're not funny, and they're not romantic. But in this, I just felt like it was a bigger story than boy meeting girl. ... I really think you don't have good comedy unless you have good moments of heartache -- and despair."
And nudity?
"Well, full frontal nudity ... in my case, makes some of the most humorous moments. It does in my house," Sandra jokes. "When I show myself naked at home, the laughter just permeates the walls in the neighborhood. The neighborhood always knows when I'm naked."
Which scene was harder, being naked with Ryan Reynolds or watching Oscar Nuñez strip down to an embarrassing G-string?
"Oscar was hanging out in the wind all by himself. So it was easier for me to do the naked scene [with Ryan], harder for me to watch Oscar. ... He's brilliant, brilliant, brilliant."
Any more nude scenes in the works?
"I figured if you're going to be naked, do it in a comedy, and make it really funny, and then you can just let everything slide. No more gym, nothing, I've done it, I've put it out there,it's on celluloid."
It certainly is. And it's hilarious.

Hello!
As always, nude scenes in Hollywood movie making are as fake as they come. Needless to say that some of actors or actresses must show some nudity. This is the tricky part when a stand by comes in to replace the hero or the heroin.
So what else is new? No big deal, just fakes is all.
