We knew it was coming. And here it is:
The 10-year marriage of "John & Kate Plus 8" reality TV stars Kate and Jon Gosselin is really over.
According to People, legal documents to initiate the coming official split were filed this afternoon at the Bucks County Courthouse in Doylestown, Pa.
So does that make it "Kate Minus Jon Plus 8 and Child Support" and "Jon Minus Child Support Plus Alimony"?
What do you think? Who's going to come out OK and who's the big loser?

It's those poor eight kids, who have now had their parents' marriage break up on TV, so they watch reruns the horror in their therapists' offices when they're in their late teens.

I will watch tonight. And maybe beyond. I don't see how they will continue the show, since the basis was Jon and Kate. This really does make me sad. I wish they would have at least tried counselling before giving up. I will pray for all of them.
Disgusting!!! Absolutely disgusting. They chose ratings over their marriage. Those poor kids.
How terrible that TLC has filmed the distruction of this pathetic family.
Shame on TLC and the crew members that saw so much more than they filmed but left those children in the "care" of Kate!
i am 100% shocked at jon and kate's divorce,i am mad and confused! then again i could tell that they fight a lot but not as much as to get a divorce! i feel TERRIBLE FOR THE KIDS!
I hope tonight the kids are there and say something against this decision.........
For the kids, please, please (make an attempt to) stop the show. Salvage what childhood they have left.
Wow, if Jon didn't get caught by the media, they and TLC would've tried to fool us for as long as they can for money. It is absolutely disgusting what they are doing those poor kids.
No. I am not even watching anymore. I used to like the old Kate. The one that was always looking out for the kids, etc. Not the arrogant DIVA she has become. She is changing John for money! Good luck with that choice girlfriend!
No, I will not watch anymore. What was once delightful to watch has become vicious. It must all be about Kate and how wonderful she is.
I am saddened by the separation of Jon and Kate. I believe they could be a great example of God's redemptive power if they would commit to each other, get counseling and work on their marriage. They need to do this, not just because of the kids, but because God intended marriage to be for a lifetime. I will be praying for this family. TV or not, we all have tough times in our marriages. It is a choice and I pray they eventually make the Biblical choice.
I'm saddened for the children, of course,however, it seems as though Kate should have known how her attitude & demeanor had changed and it was devistating for the entire family. Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
