The couple threatened to walk off the show twice during Monday night's premiere, but kept returning.
The duo quit for good after the live portion of the show, another source has informed TMZ.com, which first broke the news.
OK, is this as big a ruse as the Bruno/Eminem butt-on-face landing during the MTV Movie Awards?
Do we smell a desperate attempt by the producers to get ratings for this lame show?
Is there NOTHING -- including making total fools of themselves -- that Speidi won't do for attention and money?

Threatening to walk off the show, is not a good publicity stunt. Rather it is a 'slap in the face'to viewers since it can mean we don't care what you think!

I watched the show last night, and having never watched The Hills I couldn't believe what a waste of space Heidi and Spencer were. Watching her spray her hair during the live portion at the end was completely annoying. I feel bad for the charities they are playing for since they stand to lose the most in this. How sad that these 2 people think that they are so famous that they can come and go as they please and should not be treated like everyone else. Hell if Janice Dickinson can rough it - anyone should be able to.

OK, so Heidi and Spencer leave. I hope Heidi shows more balls than her husband, since the two spoiled media brats were going to be in for a lot of viewer consequences. The guy is a Tae Kwon Dope who believes his you know what does not stink like the rest of the world. He may have enjoyed the villian protrayal, but he came off more like poor white trash who just got an injection of fame.
