Ailing Patrick Swayze's 'The Beast' won't be back on TV
Patrick Swayze's comeback TV series, "The Beast," has not been renewed.As Swayze fights his ongoing battle against pancreatic cancer, word comes via Variety that his critically acclaimed A&E drama won't be getting picked up for a second season, although A&E execs told Variety that no official decision has been made yet.
Swayze pull out of promotional events for "The Beast" in
January because he was hospitalized with pneumonia.
As rumors about his deteriorating health continue to swirl, it's not surprising that the show might not get the go-ahead.
Patrick certainly has enough on his plate right now without the demands of a TV series.

I would like to know they are going to put out the DVD out for his show the Beast ? I hope he will get though this cancer , because my prays are with him and his wife . I had two different cancer .

I have not been a fan of most crime solving show since Miami vice, and I was a kid just wanting to stay up late(9:00pm) with my dad and brothers. Now I have a son and want him to see as much real life as possible. I know this is not real life, but I don't want him to be ignorant of his surroundings, At 5 years old, he knows that there are evil people and that we as man , at times do what ever it takes to combat it. Anyway, its good *** kicking, something our society is saying we should not do. Here and again, somebody needs a little *** kicking. I can mention a few abroad that deserve it, but I'll just be labeled a hate monger, so be it, when it hits the fan, my son may be one of the kids protecting this great nation, just because I allowed him to watch evil at its worst. wish I could do more.

I am sad to hear The Beast isn't going to be renewed as it is one of my favorite shows. But more importantly, I pray that Patrick gets through this setback and is up and about soon. Prayers for you, dear Patrick.
Patrick was absolutely brilliant in the Beast which was a testament to how much fighting spirit this man has. Not many would undertake such a series with stage 4 pancreatic cancer! Whether the show is renewed or not, Patrick's performance was a monumental achievement. He is an incredibly tough guy and with his attitude, I've no doubt he will beat this illness into the ground!
Pancreatic cancer is a death sentence and I could name two who had it and never beat it:

Patrick and his wife have a love that we all should have in our lives , she will keep him going ,praying for a miracle ,they are out there and you deserve one lets pray this is it your a very brave man and one we still need around , loved your show the beast it was a great performance!
