Season finale: Is Kate Gosselin planning 'Kate Plus 8 Minus Jon?'
The Season 5 premiere of "Jon & Kate Plus 8" was all about the fifth birthday of the sextuplets.
But not really. It was actually about Jon and Kate Gosselin's crumbling relationship and rumored infidelities.
The parents only hopped on the love seat at the end of the show when one producer asked about their future.
The two stared blankly ahead and avoided making eye contact, as if they were sitting in a marriage therapy session. They talked about their "devotion" to the children.
Kate's side seems to be that she lives for their kids. Jon, from her point of view, is selfish. Or is he just over Kate and the whole darn reality show nightmare?
As it stands now, the future looks bleak for these two and for the show.
But let's look on the bright side. From Kate's perspective, it might be time to start auditioning new husbands -- or at least new boyfriends -- and that might make the show more interesting.
Maybe she'll fall for a man with several kids of his own and they can call the new show "The Gosselin Bunch."

They are supposed to be born again Christians. They should read all scriptures on marriage and divorce. God hates divorce. They need to fix this if they can at all.
I never thought the show was that great to begin with.

I say they both should end the show and repair their personal lives. NO television show or money is worth this.
I don't feel sorry for the Kate. I felt Kate loves the fame and glam. On the other side Jon doesn't. Kate's out doing her "book stuff" while is at home. Jon has help but still, it seems like she is focused on looking good than being a good wife. It's sad when couples put kids over their marriage.
This entire situation is morally corrupt with the children paying the highest price of all. Shame on these parents and shame on TLC! Frankly, if TLC does not pull the plug on this show, I will have a hard time watching anything else they have to offer.
It's a shame for this entire family to fall apart.
the fact there was infidility on both sides says both parents need more than lights and the buzz a hollywood show has brought them.
they are still people who must still want the best for each other and their kids.
I really enjoy the show. The kids are so precious. Sure it's hard to be in the spotlight like that but Jon doesn't mind when he gets stuff for free. I hope they can work things out they are a nice family and they have a lot going for them. Remember for better or worse.
