Rihanna cross dresses at the Costume Gala. What's the mixed message?
In what some observers are calling a provocative fashion statement of female empowerment, Rihanna finally surfaced publicly at the Costume Institute Gala at the Met Museum in New York on Monday night.
She wore a Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo that featured enormous puffed sleeves and cropped slim pants.
Is this mannish pantsuit a "Don't You Mess With Me Again" message to Chris Brown? Those huge shoulders are a bit threatening. Even her wide stance seems to be an almost confrontational posture.
Or is it just a PR-style stunt to make her look like she's standing strong and not going back to Brown?

All the part are good but they don't go together. I like the pants, but not with that top. That jacket might be OK with a skirt. The bow tie and hair and gloves and pumps are *an interesting fashion statement*. I'm thinking "traumatized, still in need of recovery".
She just screams "fake".
And it's not about her (horrible) D&G look. It's just that this person is fake in herself.
Fake "artist" (she can't sing, nor dance... she is just a beautiful face with zero talent backing her) fake persona (she's insecure and immature, and fake the attitude out from what her people tell her will sell to masses) fake in general.
All this media interest about her is paid out by Universal and Jay Z? Because it's clear there's no substance at all behind this useless chick.
