Paris Hilton vs. Phoebe Price: Matter meets anti-matter at Cannes

Have Phoebe Price -- famous for trying to be famous --  and Paris Hilton -- famous for being famous -- ever run into each other on a red carpet?

Or, like in some original "Star Trek" episode, would the universe implode if these particles of matter and anti-matter ever came face to face?

The world could be in big trouble because these gals -- with their almost identical bad fashion sense --  are all over the Cannes carpets this week.

Apparently, Phoebe has abandoned her old headband line and moved into sporting natty matching fedoras with her tacky evening gowns.

Paris now seems to own the headband look, which she's been wearing all over the Croisette and on every yacht she can find.

But they both love to pile on the accessories and wear giant bug sunglasses.

Where did these young women learn to dress this badly?

Who looks worse, Phoebe or Paris? Or do we have an official tie?
