Will you read Sarah Palin's autobiography? Seriously?
Now that the right wing beauty queen heroine Carrie Prejean will become a subdued, obedient Miss California and not mouth off in National Organization for Marriage PSAs again, perhaps you're ready for some unfiltered Sarah Palin.
Palin is finally ready to tell her story in a memoir, perfectly timed to come out during her gubernatorial re-election race in spring 2010. And, oh, we can hardly wait.
"There's been so much written about and spoken about in the mainstream media and in the anonymous blogosphere world, that this will be a wonderful, refreshing chance for me to get to tell my story, that a lot of people have asked about, unfiltered," the Alaska governor and 2008 vice presidential nominee told the AP.
Palin's as-yet-untitled memoir will cover her personal and political life, from childhood to last year's campaign, including the pregnancy of her teenage daughter Bristol Palin, who has already ditched that high school sweetheart loser fiance.
Palin didn't name specific topics like Clothing Gate, her Bill Ayers-Barack Obama terrorist comments, Lipstick on a Pig, successfully losing poor John McCain his last chance at a presidential seat, etc., etc., etc. Nor did she comment on what her book advance was, although there were once rumors of an absurdly high $11 million figure.
The book will be co-released by the HarperCollins imprint Harper. For the Christian market, it will be handled by the publishing house's Zondervan division, which publishes "The Purpose Driven Life" author Rick Warren.
Palin has never written a book, and some observers, recalling her unforgettably incomprehensible interviews with Katie Couric, have questioned whether she can string together enough coherent sentences to make a book. But that's what book collaborators (ghost writers) are for. And yes, she will have one.
Two years ago, Palin revealed that one of her favorite writers was C.S. Lewis ("very, very deep"). Perhaps she's talking about his children's books, "The Chronicles of Narnia." And she also loves a Runner's World columnist, Dr. George Sheehan.
Hoo boy. Will you buy and read Sarah's book? You betcha or not a chance?

Elizabeth, dear, what is the matter with you? Why don't you write something about Palin's handler, Nicolle Wallace, and how she used to work for Couric at CBS News? (And hired away by Romney?) And how Couric talked her out of the same interview guideslines given to McCain, Obama and Biden? Hmmm? You should be nicer to honest women. You never know when you might need one to help you.
Not interested in reading this book. Tired of Sarah, her family, her ethics issues and her values. Sarah, do everyone a favor and stay on your mountain and give the poor people of Alaska what they voted for!
I might read this if I feel the need for some comedy fiction...
Will Sarah remember to include Todd's association with a group of people, who wanted Alaska to secede from the Union?
You couldn't give me a copy. Don't we already know everything, via the Media? If I wanted dysfunctional families to entertain me, I would view Jerry Springer...
I definitely will NOT read this book. I've been tired of Palin since she was nominated to be VP. I get a blog called the Mudflats, that's run by a semi-anonymous blogger in Alaska, and boy oh boy, have I gotten an education about what's happening up there, especially all the ways Palin is hurting the people of Alaska by what she's doing (or mostly not doing). They've got some real problems up there and she can't even take care of those in her own state, so why anyone would even consider her a viable candidate in 2012 is beyond me. I wish she would go away.
If the paper is soft enough... I'll use it for toilet paper!
What a sick bunch of people you are, especially the "ahem" author of this sick piece of "journalism. Governor Palin has done nothing to any of you "people" here. She has earned her way to the top on her own with no help from a rich daddy or any affirmative action programs. Hard work did it, something ,most of you losers here wouldn't know much about.
She didn't cost McCain anything in the election. Obama had his sight set on winning every state and was well on his way until Governor Palin arrived and put her team ahead in most polls. McCain lost because he suspended his campaign during the banking crisis and then went to Washington and approved it. Tell the truth for once in your sorry lives. It actually feels good when you don't spew hate, smears and lies.
oh, sheldon, let's not get started on politicians associations with people. does jeremiah wright or william ayers ring a bell to you?
