AND she's bisexual and used to be a cocaine-freak party girl?
This girl's got STAR written all over her.
"I don't feel like I look like the other perfect little pop singers," she tells Rolling Stone. "I think I'm changing what people think is sexy."
That's for sure.
Lady Gaga's desire to become famous drove her to order bags of cocaine and spend hours doing her hair and makeup in a tiny Lower East Side apartment after she dropped out of college, the mag reports.
She tells RS she's bisexual, but that her attraction to women is purely physical and she's aware this makes boyfriends "uncomfortable."
One person who isn't uncomfortable is her fan Marilyn Manson. He tells RS: "She knows exactly what she's doing. She's very smart, she's not selling out, she's a great musician, she's a great singer, and she's laughing when she's doing it, the same way that I am."
Just what we need, another Marilyn Manson!

I don't get it. I mean, is it necessary to be weird, bisexual and a druggie to become famous? How about just using your talent.
Actually, I have no idea who she is or what she does because I've only seen her looking silly in the gossip blogs!!
she's not a druggie. read the wikipedia page on her, it outlines her, she just simply fabulous, raised by drag queens; where else can you find something that FANtastic
Lady Gaga is wonderful. She's brilliant and makes great pop music. She was a successful song writer before she hit it BIG as a performer, much to the annoyance of some people it seems.
She is an artist, who backs her edgy image with actually artistic substance, namely she can sing and she writes her stuff.
Not that she is way original (she isn't, and she knows) but she has taken Madonna's lesson to be fruitfully applied. But again, she is not just a scenic perfomer, she can actually sing and compose.
Her record is fun, and it's very pop. A good kind of it.
I am no particular fan but I can keep an eye on her. Definitely she belongs to the artist category of pop, while garbage like Rihanna, who can't truly sing at all and beside being beautiful is a nobody artistically, too often (also on these pages) are tipped to be "pop relevant icons" while they are just a marketing built product with no artistic credibility whastoever.

Any1 who disagrees with that really doesn't know what true talent is.She came from nothing and now look at her,every time u turn on the radio you hear "Poker Face".I mean, the girl is going head first as a major star.Unlike Paris Hilton and all these Disney stars who think they have "it" when they don't needs to leave the game to the big boys.
She reminds me of Dale Bozzio of Missing Persons. Same hair, body and look. We'll see if her music can make her last.

...About time this kind of star arrived on the scene. She's got the tunes to back her up - coke or no coke. Makes sense though...kind of thought that all along.... She will change and last - wait and see.
