Kate Gosselin admits she and Jon may split up over alleged affair
"Jon & Kate Plus 8" star Kate Gosselin admits her marriage may be in the toilet.
But is she ready to flush?
"I don't know that we're in the same place anymore, that we want the same thing," Kate tells People magazine. "I've been struggling with the question of 'Who is this person?' for a while. I remember where I was the first time I heard her name. It's one of those things where you can try to make it go away, but there's blaring, red flashing lights."
Kate's talking about Deanna Hummel, 23, whose own brother claims she's had a months-long affair with Kate's hubby, Jon.
Kate still hopes her marriage can be saved. "I will never give up hope that every member of our family can be absolutely happy again," she says.
She's talking about their EIGHT kids.
Someone needs to remind Jon how much child support times 8 is.

I only vaguely knew about Jon & Kate Plus Eight because someone had mentioned it on CrabbyGolightly. Then recently I was at a friend's house and there they were on the flat-screen: This oddly-matched couple accompanying eight children to a ride on Thomas The Tank Engine. Jon seemed like the ninth child. Kate appeared a bit "pitchy" as the kiddies like to say. The family had the train all to themselves (camera crew included of course.) They snapped at the kids for fighting. They looked out the windows as the train moved. And if my hazy memory serves me there was some conversation about hair brushing. In a word, scintillating! Or not. Watching Jon & Kate Plus Eight was like watching paint dry. Or eggs boil. Or clocks tick; choose your cliché. I couldn't fathom why anybody thinks....

Because that is a FABULOUS reason to stay in a marriage! Because you don't want to pay child support! What a ridiculous thing to say.

Well, it is sad this has to be so public because of the children but honestly that woman is so mean and miserable I don't blame the guy! Unfortunately divorce is expensive.

That's terrible to hear about her marriage being on the rocks! My whole family tunes into the show. All eight kids are just adorable. What good would the family be if the 2 main roles of the family aren't happy with one another. I wish her the best in whatever happens between the two of them.
This is exactly what happens when you live your live in the "public eye," so to speak. The few episodes I've stomached, I wish I could just throat throttle Kate for the way she talks down to Jon, how she's short tempered with her kids, (They're not little adults as Kate would like to believe), to the way she's so anal about EVERYTHING! Does anyone know if she's slightly autistic because she acts like it. She also seems to be suffering from an assortment of psychiatric maladies that she seems to think that taking her issues out on everyone around.
No wonder her family and Jon's family want nothing to do with them. who'd want to be exploited in the way she's exploited her kids? It's Kate Gosselin's fault that the octonut wants to have her own show.
The fastest way to riches? Exploit the family you had by playing God, and having shallow-minded people buy into their sullbhit.
I hope that Jon and Kate finally get the counseling they've needed to deal with their changing circumstances, Kate's seeming need to be the boss, the only boss, and Jon's loss of his own career. Get a full time nanny and let Jon work outside the home. Maybe a family therapist would convince Kate to cut out her negative comments about men. Not only is that damaging to her marriage, it must make Aaden, Joel and Colin feel like their mother believes that boys are stupid and inept. They, after all, are little men in the making.
Um ... WHO CARES?! People, please get lives and stop destroying your brains with reality television.
