Farrah Fawcett's dad, 91, flies in to say goodbye
Farrah Fawcett's 91-year-old father James is flying into Los Angeles to say goodbye to his dying daughter, reports RadarOnline.com and KTLA.
Farrah's condition has allegedly worsened. The 62-year-old actress and Hollywood icon is battling anal cancer that spread, according to doctor's statements.
Ryan O'Neal revealed in an interview with People today that her "treatment" has pretty much ended and that her cancer has spread to her liver. He reveals that she stays in bed now and is on IVs.

says, "She stays in bed now. The doctors see that she is comfortable.
Farrah is on IVs, but some of that is for nourishment."
"It's a love story," he tells People. "I just don't know how to play this one. I won't know this world without her,"
This is so so sad.

How terribly sad. This is a good reminder to get both your boys and girls vaccinated against HPV, which can cause this type of cancer (as well as cervical and mouth cancers).
A world without Farrah Fawcett. I can't believe that. She is a beautiful human being that will live on after she is gone.

This is so sad. She was always so fit and sexy and very healthy looking. I guess when God wants to take you then that is when your window of time on this earth is over.
There was no star quite as magical and golden as was Farrah Fawcett in the 70's.
I have never stopped being enchanted by her.

I've had the pleasure of knowing Farrah back in the days of her Antelo house. I played raquettball with her & Ryan. I've had the honor of praying with her on several occations back in the 80's. We were friends. Ryan & I were close. I am still praying for her and her family.

HPV is not the only cause of Anal cancer . Most people get it due to malignancies due to a lifetime of genetic mutations probably due to our diet and heredity. My mom died from this, and her doctor told me that rectal sarcoma is usually not caused by the HPV virus. Instead focus on getting your daughters getting screened for colon cancer at the age of 50. Encourage them to eat a healthy diet. This will help them more than the HPV shot, although I would get that too.
the professional and dignified way to refer about her condition is colorectal cancer, and not anal cancer. please show respect for a dying person. shame on you.
