Elizabeth Edwards tells Oprah she doesn't know if husband John fathered alleged love child
Elizabeth Edwards will appear on the Oprah Winfrey show Thursday to talk about her husband's alleged love child with Rielle Hunter.
According to Gawker, she's not positive that her straying hubby is not the baby's father.
"I've seen a picture of the baby. I have no idea. It doesn't look like my children, but I don't have any idea," Edwards tells Oprah.
John Edwards vehemently denied fathering Hunter's child in an August interview with ABC, even as he acknowledged his affair with Hunter. He even offered to take a DNA test to prove it. At the time, Hunter turned him down.
According to the National Enquirer, she's changed her mind. Now Hunter is demanding that John Edwards take a test and is "working with a lawyer to take legal action."

Elizabeth Edwards is a professional victim. I feel compassion for her-but lets get real-she hates her husband and probably hates herself. She should have had the grace to shut up.

Instead of going on Oprah, Elizabeth Edwards needs to be in therapy NOW. She clearly has very very low self-worth to stay with such a jerk.
She is also still in denial. She calls her marriage "perfect" except for the infidelity. Huh ?
The key is that she blames it all on Hunter and not on her husband. Bad move. Watch Hunter suddenly demand a DNA test. And Elizabeth is wrong - when it is proven that the baby is his- the baby will not be extraneous to her.

I felt so sorry for Elizabeth. I thought, here is an educated woman who has gotten lost in the fairytale lie that has been told for years. She blames the other woman for everything; when in actuality, it takes two to tangle. It is clear that Hunter and John Edward wanted each other, and Elizabeth needs to understand it and deal with it. I feel sorry for the little innocent baby who got caught up in this web through no fault of her own. Elizabeth needs to stop talking about the affair publicly and savor some dignity from this humiliating experience. She needs to take a lesson from Hilary Clinton. Though Hilary was publicly humiliated by Bill Clinton's philandering, and there is no doubt that she was furious with him, she savored her dignity and dealt with the situation privately. But my heart goes out to Elizabeth as she deal with her husband's betrayal and her health, because it is clear that she is still hurting.
