Cynthia Nixon to wed Christine Marinoni! Don't tell Carrie Prejean
"Sex and the City" star Cynthia Nixon announced her engagement to girlfriend Christine Marinoni on Sunday at a N.Y. rally for gay rights and gay marriage, a source told Access Hollywood.
The "Sex and the City" star told the excited crowd that she became engaged last month.
The report has been confirmed by her reps to Eonline.com .
Actors Kristen Davis, David Hyde Pierce, Audra McDonald and Ana Oritz also were at the rally for New York Gov. David Paterson's proposed bill granting legal equality to same-sex unions.
Cynthia and Christine started dating in 2003 after she split up with husband Danny Mozes. She has two children, Samantha and Charles.
OK, they gotta work this gay marriage storyline into the new "SATC" film. Along with Sarah Jessica Parker's (Carrie) twins via a surrogate
Sure, Carrie Prejean may not rush out to see the film with a lesbian marriage in the plot.
But think of "SATC's" huge gay male audience. Making Cynthia's character fall in love with a woman would double it with a massive lesbian audience.
Just something to think about.

SATC was nothing but a gay male fantasy from the beginning -- free, unfettered sex anytime, with anyone. It had to be disguised with beautiful, rich female actors to snooker gullible women.
This is a sad time for America. Heterosexual divorce rates are high; single women get sperm donations to satisfy their maternal instincts; Octomom is unashamed of herself. And of course gays want to be "equal" to heterosexuals. Sadly, though, children cannot flourish in all this chaos. Perhaps some will adapt, but it's not optimal for their needs. Kids need role modeling from both a mother and a father. Gay marriage is wrong, just as much as deliberate single parenting is wrong for children. This nation forgets about the human rights of children at its peril. The future isn't bright when adults put themselves first and children's needs get glossed over.
Why the snide pro-gay remark about Carrie Prejean? Typical left coast pandering. Carrie's position is she is not for gay marriage but she is not against others expressing their love for each other. I am sure she would be happy to hear of the announced nuptials. Listen to what she really said, not what you think she said.

Marriage is a legal contract in the eyes of the state. You're getting a religious ceremony confused with a constitutional right of any adult to marry in these United States. All of your points, Friendly Texan, are created from a heterosexual atmosphere but you're looking to blame the gay population for your failure.
Can she really be considered a lesbian? This "lady" Christine looks more like a guy. IDK why lesbians say they are lesbians but are with women/girls that look like guys. Or why men/guys say they are gay and are with men that look like and act like women. I guess they are just bored and need attention. It is very sad what people will do.

Please explain to me the "straight" men who like women who look like Hillary Swank and the "straight" gals who like guys like Leonard Dicapri and Clay Aiken. Are they just seeking attention, or are gender lines not as clearly defined as some would like them to be.
