Angelina Jolie injured on 'Salt' set, taken to hospital for exam

Columbia TriStar Motion Picture Group has released the following statement to The Dish Rag:

"This morning, while filming an action sequence during production of her new movie 'Salt,' Angelina Jolie sustained a minor injury. As a precautionary measure, Ms. Jolie will be taken to the hospital and examined. Production on the film has resumed."

TMZ is reporting that the injury was sustained during a stunt and was on Angie's forehead, a nick between her eyes that bled a bit.

This gal is tough. If she can bounce back from her twins, a minor cut won't keep her down for long.
