'24' star Kiefer Sutherland to turn himself in, face assault charges today
Intrepid anti-terrorist agent Jack Bauer, a.k.a. "24" star Kiefer Sutherland, will probably face a minor third-degree assault charge for an alleged head butting of a fashion designer in New York this week, according to the Daily News.
He's due to surrender to police in Lower Manhattan today.
But how will L.A. authorities react?
Sutherland is on a five-year probation for his second DUI conviction, and the terms state the troubled actor must "obey all laws."
"Our office intends to contact the NYPD and New York prosecutors to review the incident and determine whether Mr. Sutherland violated probation," L.A. City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan tells People.
Could he go back to jail? Sutherland previously spent 48 days in jail on the DUI conviction.
Maybe rehab and getting into a 12-step program with a good sponsor is a better idea for our Jack?
