Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick expecting twin girls via surrogate
Putting an end to all those divorce rumors, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have announced new roles in a major life drama: They're expecting twin daughters!
The "Sex and the City" star and her actor-husband are expecting twins through a surrogate pregnancy, representatives for the couple said Tuesday.
Well, no wonder we didn't spot any bump!
Pretty cagey!
And pretty smart, because she won't have to get back in shape for all those designer duds in time for the next "Sex and the City" movie.
Parker, 44, and Broderick, 47, "are happily anticipating the birth of their twin daughters later this summer with the generous help of a surrogate. The entire family is overjoyed," said a statement from their publicists.
The couple have a 6-year-old son, James Wilkie Broderick, and will celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary next month.
No details about the surrogate, darn it.
At least we know it wasn't octo-mom Nadya Suleman.

"Generous help"? I doubt this is a volunteer uterus. Nice for them, I guess, but it's sort of gross too. Why not just adopt?
How stupid. They'll both be pushing 60 when their daughters are 15...good luck with that.
Belinda,
Because they want the baby to be genetically related to them, but they realize that, at age 44, a pregnancy can be high-risk for the mother.
I'm (male and) 42, and if I had their kind of money, I'd do the same thing.
