President Obama topless: the Washingtonian Swimsuit Edition?
First, Lisa Rinna bares it all in Playboy.
Now President Barack Obama is topless (in a bathing suit) on the cover of the Washingtonian.
Why use a topless pix of the POTUS?
Because he's one of the magazine's top 26 reasons to love living in the U.S. capital: "Reason #2: Our new neighbor is hot."
The mag used a pap shot of Obama taken during his Hawaiian vacation last year.
Garrett Graff, editor at large for Washingtonian, says that the Obamas have brought an energy to the city and the attention of the paparazzi, and he calls the Obama presidency "the Golden Age of Washington."
But even he admits that the mag's choice of the swimsuit photo over a more sedate fashion shot was designed to "have a little fun."
"It's a unique time in Washington, and this photo helps capture all of the reasons why," he tells ABC News.
We'll say.

This is such poor taste -I mean we are so lucky to have this man-and it just is tacky and awful- shame on them!
Truthfully, I'm not quite sure how I feel about this yet! I am incredibly proud of him and proud that he is smart and sexy, but wouldn't want his coolness to be mistaken for weakness.
Ridiculous. Not only has Barack Obama and Michelle Obama made a mockery out of the most powerful position in the free world, but the press has, as well. I don't see other magazines putting their leader on the cover in a bathing suit.
so you're not going to allow my post. this is typical of a star-crazed obama follower. you will print only the positives and diminish or eliminate the negatives. even someone so starstruck as you can see that even staunch obama supporters are beginning to question his ability to lead our country. you don't have to post my comment that wasn't positive about barack obama and michelle obama. this helps solidify my opinion that barack followers are one-sided, intellectually unpracticed and worried about any opposition.
I think it's awesome. Welcome back to the golden age of Washington. We haven't seen interest like this since Kennedy and our country needs it right now. It's great for our country to see him as a strong, healthy person as well as a strong leader.
Why should it be undignified for the POTUS to sport a VERY conservative bathing suit? He is the model of health and fitness that we harp on the youth of today to live up to. In addition to being the POTUS, he is also a young(ish), active husband and father. I would be VERY ashamed if he were extremely obese and lazy, but he is neither. Again, the bathing suit is VERY conservative.
