No room for 'Twilight' hunk Robert Pattinson on 'SNL'? WTHey?

Despite massive petitioning by Robert Pattinson's loyal legions of fans, the "Twilight" actor will not be appearing on "Saturday Night Live" anytime soon.

OK magazine reports that some 5,000 fans of the British heartthrob have signed an online petition asking for him to host the NBC show.

But "SNL" executive producer Lorne Michaels told the mag that its slate is full.

Full? Are they kidding? They couldn't have moved Seth Rogen, Alec Baldwin or Tracy Morgan? Seriously?

To quench your insatiable Patz Man thirst, here's a fan-made YouTube video of the 2006 movie "The Haunted Airman,' one of Pattinson's early British films.

Enjoy.

I personally never thought Rob would be comfortable doing SNL. He had a hard time doing the Oscar presentation. He just gets so nervous.

Rob's getting more experienced and was very funny on the Ellen chat show. I think he could do it but there's no rush. Let them wait.

I;d love to see Rob Pattinson sing on a show. He's wonderful comedy actor and singer so I'm sure in time we'll see him on there.
I;d rather he did 30 Rock. Pattinson and Tina Fey would be a delight.
