Miranda Tozier-Robbins, 'Idol' hopeful, arrested outside Britney Spears' home
26-year-old Miranda Tozier-Robbins was arrested yesterday morning after allegedly lurking outside of Britney Spears' Calabasas home, dressed in camouflage and wielding a camera.
According to the Associated Press, Spears' security guards caught an intruder and called the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Tozier-Robbins was then given a citation for trespassing and disorderly conduct and released.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Tozier-Robbins auditioned -- with a Britney Spears song -- for the fifth season of "American Idol", and hosts Idol Fever Approaching, a blog about "American Idol" that chronicled her audition process.
In the blog profile allegedly belonging to Tozier-Robbins, Spears and Paula Abdul are listed as favorite musicians. In the "About Me" section, the author writes, in part, "I'm a student at The New England Institute of Art. I live in Fitchburg. Fitchburg sucks. There's so much to me I can't fit it all in this tiny space. I have issues but I'm working on them ... I'm broke and it sucks!"
