Lindsay Lindsay seeks solace from Ellen DeGeneres?

Linday Lohan knows a little something about breaking up with guys -- Harry Morton, Jared Leto, Wilmer Valderrama, Brody Jenner, Jamie Burke, Calum Best, to name a few -- in the public eye.

But now that she's very publicly broken with a gal, People reports that she's doing the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" today to talk about her bust-up with Samantha Ronson.

Maybe she thought Ellen could give her some sympathetic lesbian love life advice? After all, she had a pretty public split with Anne Heche in 2000. And maybe Ellen can fix her up with some nice girls.

On the show, Lohan tells the talk show host that the breakup with Ronson "came out of nowhere." "I had no idea what was going on. I just hadn't seen her in, like, a week. She, like, disappeared," Lohan says.

Really? She just thought all those months of public screaming fights were normal?

Lohan didn't reveal exactly what happened after a "really tough night" but denied that another woman -- or man -- was the cause.

Right now, LIndsay says, "I want to get my career back in shape."

Really? What career is that? The one where you get photographed all messed up at parties all night long?

Poor Lindsay still holds hopes that the rift between Sam and her won't be forever.

"I really care about Samantha, and we'll see what happens," she says. "Maybe when we're fully in the right place. And I love her."
