'Kourtney and Khloe in Miami': the non-Kim Kardashian sisters get a show

LRKour_Johnn_56674277_600 As if one window into the dramatic and decadent lives of the Kardashian clan was not enough, E! is launching yet another such series.

In "Kourtney and Khloe in Miami," which kicks off this August, the two non-Kim Kardashian sisters will head to Florida to open another branch of Dash, the clothing store they own in Los Angeles, finally stepping out of their famous sister's rump-shaped shadow.

"Keeping Up With the Kardashians" creator and EP Ryan Seacrest will be involved. Also, mother Kris Jenner, stepdad Bruce Jenner, and sister Kim will make appearances.

In her new stand-up special, comedian Kathy Griffin confessed that she has caught her own mother surreptitiously watching E!'s "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." And who could blame Kathy's mom, really? The series is train-wreck TV at its best, as addictive as it is disturbing.

Will you watch as Kourtney and Khloe kick off their new lives in the notorious party town of Miami? Or in light of the current slumping economy, have shows about conspicuous consumption lost some of their Swarovski-crystal-encrusted luster?
