Bruce Springsteen recycles 2006 response to 2009 adultery reports
Bruce Springsteen has responded to the reports of his being named as the other man in a divorce suit involving a woman named Ann Kelly.
But the Boss' response is an old statement he made in 2006 as a response to another rumored affair.
A Springsteen rep tells the press that the rock icon stands by the statement he posted on his website, brucespringsteen.net, in August 2006.
Springsteen then wrote: "I hesitate to use this website for anything personal believing it should remain a place where fans of my music can come free of the distractions that occasionally arise with the rest of my job.
"However, due to the unfounded and ugly rumors that have appeared in the papers over the last few days, I felt they shouldn't pass without comment. Patti and I have been together for 18 years -- the best 18 years of my life. We have built a beautiful family we love and want to protect and our commitment to one another remains as strong as the day we were married."

What do you think? Maybe he didn't have time to write a new one?
It's a very convincing statement and perhaps recycling is the way to go, even with responses to adultery charges.

My husband is in the same business. Unfortunately the mix of the road, a giant ego, and starry-eyed sluts with a disregard for the fact he's someone's husband adds up to a bitter pill.
But he wasn't on the road with this one, this one was right in his home town - a "friendship" at the gym. Either he and Patti are winding down or he's a hound dawg...either way, not good.
And...may I ask why a man with an estate and all the money in the world needs to have a gym membership? Wouldn't he be able to build a nice work out facility at his home complex? Ok, I'm leaning toward hound dawg...
