Rihanna legally has the right to tape-record your phone conversations.
Brown who was charged last week with two felonies in the alleged beating of his girlfriend, is banned by law from bad behavior toward Rihanna.
According to court documents linked to at L.A. Now, The Times' breaking-news blog, he may not "harass, strike, threaten, assault (sexually or otherwise), follow, stalk, molest, destroy or damage personal or real property" of Rihanna's.
That includes her face.
He also can't "disturb the peace, keep under surveillance or block movements" and must get rid of any guns he may have by surrendering them to police or selling them to a licensed dealer within 24 hours.
And he also cannot "dissuade or prevent" anybody from attending a hearing or making a report to police.
But the order does not stop him from calling Rihanna. He can also see her up close and personal with no proximity issues.
The only restriction is this: "The protected persons (that would be Rihanna) may record any prohibited communications made by the restrained person." That would be Chris Brown.
This probably means texts too, man!

A man who beats a woman, first abuses her psychologically, this piece of crap should be punished.
Both Brown and Fenty have egos big enough to fill three stadiums. I don't feel sorry for either one of them, especially Brown. He is the typical example of an emotionally retarded human that does not have the brain capacity to respond in any way but violence when his ego gets bruised!
wow, well i heard about this earlier but the waii u guys put it is more understanding! i really hope he watches what he does to her. i honestly think she's just back with him to see if he's going to change because he showered her with gifts for her birthday. i mean, to me it looks like he just bought her back. i mean honestly it didnt look like she was going to take him back until he sent her all those gifts. im not saying she's a gold digger (who knows) and im not saying he's a player (again, who knows? probably the person who sent him the text) but honestly jsut because he gave you gifts on your birthday is no reason to take him back. and if there are other reasons why she took him back she should come out and tell us so all her fans and people can stop critisizing her and see her point. i mean i love both of them but they really have to talk to everyone about whats going on. even her own family doesnt know where she is. i understand your trying to get away from all the stress but as popular as you are thats pretty much impossible. anyways, i hope they both come out one day and tell everyone whats the deal because there are alot of people that are confused about this situation. and we dont give a crap if its not our business, because if it wasnt it wouldnt be out on tv and the internet and such. so we technically hav a right to know whats going on, FOR REAL!!
Rihanna would be better served and would serve other women better if she would sever ties with an abusive partner. At least she is in a better position financially to separate from her abuser; too many are too financially desperate and in that desperation stay with the abuser to their own detriment and the detriment of their families.
No one, rich or poor, should be abused by anyone.
Rihanna reportedly wants to have continued contacts with Brown and that he should not be barred from contacting her.

Wow the price of fame.. Im a male who has had relationships with those in the spot light, you people are missing the bigger picure completly. These two are in a "Modern" relationship and obviously have some trust issues. These days you have no privacy and the whole technology thing isnt helpin us at all. Its seems to be common practice for people to go thru phones, screen myspace pages and all that mess..Seems like it even happens before anyone is really even up to no good just because of this technology and the real reasons people use them. We have no idea what really is going on. So this is for all those who act like men are always the abusers. Have you ever wondered why he did it in the first place? Could you have been being mentally or physically abusive towards him at the time? Too many women these days fall on the thinking of "he should take whatever i dish out and still walk away" and it makes you worse than him for finally having his limit of your abuse (because that is what it is) and its premeditated when you do this and expect him to just take it. What kind of man would he be if he did keep just takin it and why would you be with a person with that little of self respect?(you wouldnt). These two should do as I would advise any young couple that have gotten to this point and admit the dysfunction and just break up and move on..no more contact what so ever...Im not saying hes innocent, just noticing a pattern here.. Seems like the abused always get it agian or from another guy and they never wonder if its them or their choices that keep that history repeating itself...Good Luck, God bless...

The woman was on the verge of taking him back anyway. With or without gifts she was communicating with him before her B-day. They are young and in love, of course the unhealthy way. I pray for them both I'm a 32 year old female and has had my share of abuse with the brokes dudes...LOL especially at the age of 20/21.. OMG.. I laugh at how foolish I was. Not a goo look. However, on the outside looking in, if CB was broke I don't think Rhianna will be going any where. She's in love, in a crazy way. She's more into him. I believe he loves her, but right now he's doing damage control at the same time. Also he has to learn how to control his temper and so do Rhianna, from past reports I heard about her temper too. They'll be fine, as long as they both remain truthful and learn how to deal with relationship issues. CB better watch out also, I'm a woman we can be spiteful and vingeful at times. Wow, recording his phone convo's and maybe text? I wish I can get that deal on my husband like now..LOL. Yeah the trust issues exist more often now than ever with all the technology. CB and Rhianna will be good. Their decisions are up to them both...
