Rihanna's attorney to Chris Brown: RiRi 'wants this over'

If Chris Brown is not charged, then LAPD or the DA's office better not ever mention the name O.J. Simpson ever again. If they truly believe that abuse led to Nicole's murder, they have an opportunity here to make a difference and maybe save the life of this young woman.

Trouble with trial lawyers seems to be that they all enjoy dragging out case settlements. Somebody who had displayed really violent actions has to be punished, plain and simple !

Rihanna has lost any and all respect and credibility ever afforded her - as well as taking her "Role Model" status to hell.By returning to Mr. Brown - the ONLY thing accomplished is enabling his CRIMINAL behavior. I am a Critical Care Registered Nurse who treats victims of Domestic Violence on a daily basis. These two CHILDREN have further contributed to the undercurrent of Domestic Violence in this country. As well as making it even more difficult for the Law Enforcemnt and Medical commnunties in bringing victims to treatment. Both of these CHILDRENS behaviors is totally inexcusable and their respective commercial endorsements should be immediately stripped. It is more than obvious neither one has any desire to change their behavior. There should be ZERO smpathy or empathy for Chris or Rihanna. She really does not want my care in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit - but she is setting herself up for just that!!

Rihanna is out of her mind. Anyone who would hit a woman in this way can not change. She is fooling hereself in believing he is sorry - and destroying her own career in the process. How foolish, but she is young and niave.

I am just so tired of how the media is painting Chris Brown as an abuser as if this happened so many times before. Do you have proof of that? Just because she said that to the police does not mean that it is necessarily true. She was just reading a text message (why was she snooping anyway, you get what you are looking for) from one of his former interests, and they had an argument and he hit her back (yes i did say back). She was upset and yes when you are 20 and your boyfriend has cheated on you,and you just had a fight, emotions are high, you are seeking revenge she could have very well fabricated the story a little. I DO NOT condone a man hitting on a women to use her as his personal punching bag. At the same time I DO NOT condone a woman using a man as hers either. Yes we have been taught that since we were little that a man should not touch a woman, but these young women need to know too that you keep your hands to yourself. Yes a man may walk away or allow you to hit him without hitting you back but at some point you should expect that one day he is going to snap and hit you back. From other stories particuarly to one in People magazine, those close to them have said their fights start from jealousy and that Rihanna doesnt like women around Chris, she is also obsessed with the boy and according to them it was a bit much for him. She should have known when she 'feel in love' with Chris that women wanting to hang around comes with the territory..so the fact that she allowed a relationship to evolve then she was willing to accept or so she thought. He had to deal with rumors about her and others as well. Chris is a male and males do things like that. He is 19 and too young for the relationship they thought they were mature enough to handle. I wish everyone would lay off the boy a bit and put some of the responsibility on her as well. Chris was wrong for hitting her like he did, i will have to admit that i was really disturbed after reading the police notes to the point that I couldnt work. But I am willing to bet that there is more to his story because we have only heard her side. I am willing to bet she was attacking him while he was driving. Also I would have to ask Rihanna a question, why didnt you get out the car when he 'tried to push you out' It would have been apparent the argument had gone too far then. She had her phone, all these people she was calling while they were driving could have picked her up. If this isnt the first time like the media is trying so hard to make us believe then I would think as a battered scared women you would know when the conversation has reached that point and at that point would be the time to shut up or get away. "if" that wasnt the first time. I am just not willing to throw Chris under the bus like everyone else because I wasnt there and I know it is 2 sides to every story regardless of what a photo shows or what some notes says a person said. The fact that she wants to be with him so bad may be because she is sorry for her part in the altercation and knows this has gone too far. Dont give me the mess about that is typical of battered women to go back and feel like they cannot leave. One because Chris and Rihanna are not married and have no ties to each other what so ever. She is RIHANNA she does not depend on Chris for anything that has to do with her well being she has her own. So in this situation I dont buy that one. Yes in cases where a child has grown up witnessing domestic violence they tend to do the same when they are older. But you know there are cases where because people have grown up in the environment they refuse it and break the cycle and lets not forget this was not his biological father it was his step dad. How come Chris couldnt be one that had broken the cycle and this was an isolated event? Everybody knows so much but tell it all, give examples of several cases not just one sided ones. If I was Chris' mom i would advise him to stay away from Rihanna. Its apparent they both are immature and have anger problems so they BOTH need help not just Chris. Maybe try again later when they have matured. The media is something else I tell you. Allow these people to deal with their issues by themselves and stop putting every little detail out there. That is their business. All those judging, how would you like it if someone put your mess out there for everyone to judge you on? Stop throwing stones when you likely live in a glass house yourself. And stop saying what you would or wouldnt do in this situation because you dont know what you would do until faced with it. This is a case of two young people trying to play grown, he cheats and she wants him to be faithful, she tries to control him but cant, normally she argues about it out of jealousy, hits and this particular time she was stunned when he hit her back and she was left wondering 'what happened?' Typical Yvette and Jody from Baby Boy when she confronted in the apartment and she punched him in the eye out of frustration and hurt and he was shock and hit her back in the eye. Give these two space to do what they need to do and mind your business but in the meantime stop killing this boy's career with your stories. I will continue to be a true fan of them BOTH. Thats what real fans do. Judge no one, all are human whether celebrity or common folk we make mistakes.

I have to agree with Leigh.. We cant simply judge these two people with out judging our own messes! I for one cant believe a 6'2 tall 190 pound young man had the room in that small car, and the tregectory to do that kind of damage. I know for a fact alot of times when women are mad at their cheeting man, they say an awful lot of things that arent exactly true so he looks more like an *** then he is. WHY? Because i did it to my husband, I painted him out to be a real monster. And he wasnt... I started it and he finished it. ONLY after putting up with several times of me slapping him and hitting him and punching him. BECAUSE he cheated on me! AND guess what he NEVER laid a hand on me ever again. and I never laid a hand on him again. We learned and we grew away from it! THATS why as an adult ( I'm 44 ) I will not join in the blood gangs to have this kid totaly destroid! Things do happen and people do make stupid mistakes. I just feel something is being COVERED UP here! We have YET to hear his side of things and see the police report they took from him when he turned hisself in. I do not believe him to be the DEMONIC MONSTER the press is just loving to paint him as. NEXT thing you know they will be reporting on how many times he took a crap. Because some how that will be news worthy and he will be a calloos bastard for taking a crap in HIS own toilet! I just really hope that after this is over Chris continues with his reabilitation traeatments and that he can make a new come back. If Michael Jackson can start a new tour and have throngs of supporting fans go to see him.. AFTER HE WAS CHARGED NOT ONCE BUT TWICE for child molestation, Then Chris can surely have his career too! And to be honest, CHILD MOLESTERS ALWAYS RE-OFFEND!!! 19 year old young men with the right help right away DO NOT!! Just because Oprah and her CROANIE Friend GAIL King want to hate on Chris, I wont.. I do not believe he just sudenly became a Woman beater when he got with her. DID ANYONE NOTICE there are NO other young women out there that are coming forward to say he beat them? BECAUSE HE NEVER DID!! And YES he has had girlfriends before Rihanna. So untill I hear the WHOLE STORY I am staying neutral! And I am NOT going to join in the LYNCH mob of America either!!

The fact that Rihanna has taken Chris back shows that no matter how much make up and how many hot pop songs you throw at a girl- you can't change the fact that she's stupid.

It would have been in Rihanna's interests to be seen on the cover of every teen magazine promoting an anti-domestic message to present her as being some sort of beacon of hope for battered women, but because Rihanna is so stupid- she has taken him back not realising that the thing that makes her the star she is (her public image) is tattered.

And to those on here defending Chris- I just hope nothing like that happens to your daughters or sisters. I personally do not feel any sympathy for Rihanna but that does not mean i'm excusing Chris.

This is exactly why artists should base thei success on their talent because an image can be ruined so easily but talent cannot.
