Why did Nadya Suleman nix free 24-hour child care?
What? No reality TV show? Then Nadya Suleman doesn't need your stinking free 24-hour child care.
The Octomom -- mother of 14 IVF conceived children -- has officially passed on an offer of free 24-hour nursing care for her kids by the nonprofit group Angels in Waiting.
AP reports that the group's founder said that Suleman seemed to lose interest in their offer after they ruled out her request to do a reality show around her childrens' care.
Angels in Waiting lawyer Gloria Allred said she filed a request for an investigation with Los Angeles County Child and Family Services into how Suleman will care for her children.
In case you have forgotten -- and seriously, how could you -- Suleman is unmarried, unemployed, lives with her parents (whose house now faces foreclosure) and receives food stamps and other government assistance.
Suleman's new spokesman, Victor Munoz, spoke with Dr. Phil McGraw on CNN's "Larry King Live" show Friday night and sounded open to the offer.
But he said he was really busy dealing with the upcoming release of the premature infants from the hospital, which could begin in less than two weeks.
Right....
Those poor, poor kids.

Why do you all keep feeding into this. This woman and her doctor are insane. The doctor who implanted should have to pay child support for all the children. The mother should be assigned a child care person to monitor . The mother should have to pay back all the foodstamp money if the doctor has to pay child support. The mother has a full time job she should have to apply for daycare license and have to hire help for her children and have to pay back the goverment. Yes those poor children its not their fault they are here.
The children should be removed permently and placed in loving homes with restrictions such as they be 100% responsible for the care, medical etc. of the kids. Shuleman should have to repay all $$$ to all assistance programs and be cut off forever. Mandatory sterilization should not be far behind. Harsh I know but her actions warrant.
What she has done is criminal at best. Put her where she belongs, in jail.
The world is saddened by hearing about this woman who brought 8 babies into this world. She is very confused about what makes a good mother. She wants to exploit her births. She needs help but don´t think she wants to talk to Dr Phil.
You know.... nothing this woman does to exploit or endanger her children further suprises me. I watched that broadcast, when Gloria Allred called with an open statement. I don't know why in the hell people are wondering "why'd she turn it down. Could it be for a better deal?" The answer is obvious, has been obvious all along, and will continue to BE obvious. When a woman will turn down ANY kind of care for her children, when she's in her position... DO NOT tell me that she's a "loving mother" looking out for the best interest of her kids. To say this is the equivelant of having JOHN WAYNE GACEY looking after your teenage boys for a weekend, and stating that "he should keep em busy". It's vile, and discusting, and PROVES what her intentions with her children are.
The way I feel about it, is that CPS works off OUR tax dollars. They work for us, not vice versa. This discusting excuse for a human being (nadya) has taken this as far as it can go. There are over 300 million people in the United States. If ONE in every FIVE HUNDRED donates this woman ten bucks, .... YOU DO THE MATH!!
I despise this vile woman. Seriously. Considering the extent that she's already raped our tax dollars WHILE continuing to have the nerve to ask for financial help from the public.. GOD. Well.... CPS, its time for you to clock in, and start going to work. Put these kids in adopted homes(INCLUDING the six that she's been neglecting), get them the hell away from her, and find a prosecutor with the BALLS that will actually prosecute her for the crimes that she's committed. CHILD NEGLECT AND FRAUD! Damnit...... our taxes pay your bills. Start doing your jobs!
I agree with all of the above. Put this insane person in jail-better yet--make her be a caregiver for someone--to pay back all the $ she has extorted from us.
All I care to know is: who paid for all the IVF? Let whoever paid for that pay for all this.
Listen those of you without sin cast the first stone! I am sick of hearing you all rant and rave about this poor woman and her children. You who will give more compassion to dogs and cats than you will to another human being. You should all be ashamed of yourselves sitting back in judgement! I may not agree with her decision but I would rather help her than condemn her. Prayers are in need not death threats or condescending remarks. May God bless have mercy on all of us!
She's a PIG. Six kids and wants more, what about the ones that are retarded now? The only way for her to get money from the Government (me and you) should be after she is sterilized and relinquishes the kids for adoption. The Doctor, and I use that term loosely should be responsible for the costs to date. He should be treated no differently than a father that irresponsibly impregnates a woman without thought to what his actions might have later.
I'm sick of her....
People like her really ruins this beautiful country.
