Lauren Conrad wants a real life? Good luck with that
Lauren Conrad finally fesses up about why she's really leaving her reality show, "The Hills," after five seasons.
Seems it was all just so ... FAKE!
"You see us on the show and we appear to have semi-normal lives, but if you watch any entertainment news show, half of the cast is being swarmed by paparazzi," she tells Us Weekly. "I'm excited to go back to having just one life, because there were times that I got them confused."
So did we, Lauren. So did we.
Lauren admits the decision to depart the show is "bittersweet."
"I've spent the last five years making every decision be about the show. People I date have to be able to film, the places I work have to let us film and the places I live have to have set lighting," she told the mag.
Conrad, who is now a fashion designer -- of sorts -- and an author -- of sorts -- has no regrets.
"I loved doing it and had so much fun, but it came to a point where I had done it long enough."
We feel the same way about watching it....
ShowTracker reports that the fifth season may not be the last season of "The Hills."

i was getting sick of the lauren-heidi drama b/c it's been dragged out for so long.
either be friends or not, right?
anyways, i will miss lauren and i just can't help but wonder that this decision could either really help her life but harm her career.

Omg it will be a shame without her, i guess season 5 is the finale for lauren, :(, but mtv said who will fill her shoes? which means there will be a season 6? i reacon it will be Mrs Pratt, i heard a rumour she will be the new lauren? :O
I have been watching all the Laguna beach and The Hills eppisodes and see her go through alot. It will be sad to see lauren leave the show, but she does need to get on with her life its time to see her do her own thing. But i dont think that the show will last all that long without her. Prove me wrong.
I will miss Lauren and the hills. However, she needs to move on with her life and do sommething on her own. Im not sure if she'll be successful, but i hope she does. I think we need to see more new people like lauren conrad. what happened to Newport beach i really enjoyed that show everyone was pretty down to earth unlike laguna. But i loved laguna as well because of stephen, kristen, lauren, and Talan. :)
LC makes the Hills - the Hills. I love the fake drama and would hate to see her go -
I really hope she changes her mind! The show will not be the same without her! She is awesome!
