Jennifer Aniston on her divorce: 'no villains, no heroine'
It's all the media's fault for harping on the subject in every interview.
"'No matter what I say, things will always be taken out of context and misinterpreted, will always be turned around to make it seem as though I won't let something go, or that I just keep talking about it over and over," she patiently explains to Elle UK in an interview done months before her Oscar appearance and onstage Brangelina confrontation.
"I don't owe anybody my side of the story. There are no sides! There is no bad guy and there is no good guy. There are no villains and there is no heroine in this story. It's just not the case."
In the interview, she also gets in a mention of her new films, "Marley & Me" and "He's Just Not That Into You."
And while she admits she's usually offered "funny, quirky, pretty roles," she'd love to do an action-packed thriller. "James Bond! Glamour! Daniel Craig! ... of fun!," she exclaims.
Hey now, hold on a minute. That's Angelina Jolie's turf! But ... wouldn't that be interesting?
