Is Revlon secretly polling an anti-Rihanna mood?

TMZ is reporting that Revlon has hired Harris Interactive to conduct a survey to determine if Rihanna is hurting its competitor CoverGirl's cosmetics sales.

The survey features a CoverGirl mascara commercial. It then asks people if they know who the person is in the commercial, without using her name. The poll then asks if they've heard about this person in the news, if they have an opinion about her and if they feel the person is "an appropriate spokesperson" for the mascara.

So is what they're really asking: Are you gals annoyed about Rihanna going back with Chris Brown? And, ergo, would you buy mascara from this woman?

TMZ says that Harris Interactive calls the poll a "proprietary study by Revlon."

We can't wait for Revlon -- and CoverGirl's -- response.

In the meantime, here's the Dish Rag's unofficial survey: Would you be less likely to buy CoverGirl products if Rihanna gets back with Chris Brown, who is accused of assaulting her?

No I would not. I have always loved her make-up which is why I started using CoverGirl. That has nothing to do with her personal life. I however will stop using the Revlon products I have.

If Revlon fire her.. I will stop buying revlon products, she is the only reason why i started buying them.. I loved her commercail

I personally think that any company that would let a woman who dresses as trashy as she does both on stage and to events should be boycotted. Young girls wear this make-up and to have a person like this Rihanna promote them also promotes her, her music, and her image. I have already stopped buying CG products, as have many friends and family members. I have also complained to covergirl and signed a petition to get her dropped.
