Hold on! Patrick Swayze isn't done fighting yet!
Don't give up on Patrick Swayze yet.
Counteracting the National Enquirer's recent report, Swayze told People, he says he's a far cry from death's door.
"It's amazing to me that the tabloids such as the National Enquirer print such negative stories about me and my health when there are so many positive things going on in my life right now."
He's started a new chemotherapy and says "I am one of the lucky ones with pancreatic cancer that is responding well to the treatment."
He says he's working on his new book and enjoying the praise for his new A&E series "The Beast." He also just got a new puppy, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, named Kamusai.
"I hope in the future, the press will think twice about printing inaccuracies and painting an unpleasant picture when I have so much to be thankful for at this time."
Swayze's cancer was discovered after his doctors found a
malignant tumor in his midsection and a small mass on his liver. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer.
In advanced stages, pancreatic cancer can prove fatal in a matter of months, but Swayze is fighting hard and his cancer is responding to treatment.
Good luck, Patrick. We know you can beat this!

My prayers are with Patrick at this time, I am a huge fan and want him to beat this disease and be healthy again. I know he has the love and support of Lisa and that is wonderful.
Patrick and his family are in my prayers. Despite of his cancer, Patrick gives hope to other patients. He has taught us all to be thankful and grateful for what we have and not to dwell on things we DON'T have.
