Hilary Duff hits back, Joaquin Phoenix defends rap, Sam Lufti sues Britney, Nicole Kidman gets licked?
Today's Dirty Laundry. We scour the Web for the best dirt. So you don't have to.
Stephen King likes "Harry Potter" but is really, really jealous of "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer.
Celebutopia quotes USA Weekend, in which King says, "Both Rowling and Meyer, they're speaking directly to young people. ... The real difference is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer can't write worth a darn. She's not very good."
The smack down between Hilary Duff and Faye Dunaway continues. Hillary hit back hard after hearing Dunaway's alleged remark about the former "Lizzie McGuire" star reprising her part in "Bonnie and Clyde": "Couldn't they at least cast a real actress?"
Hils told E!'s Daily 10, "I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don't even know who she is," adding about her comment, "I think it was a little unnecessary, but I might be mad if I looked like that now, too."
Ouch.
Joaquin Phoenix says his rap career is no joke. At least, not to him. After he fell off a stage in Las Vegas last month, rumors flew that this music move was nothing but an elaborate ruse.
"There's not a hoax," Phoenix Phoenix tells AP. "Might I be ridiculous? Might my career in music be laughable? Yeah, that's possible, but that's certainly not my intention."
That's too bad.
Why has Sam Lutfi sued Britney Spears and her parents for libel, defamation and battery?
According to TMZ, dude's got some major debts now that he lost his pretty little bald Britney piggybank. His condo is heading toward foreclosure, and he owes Discover Card over $7 grand. And that interest is a killer!
What do you think? Is this good money after bad?
After the First Lady Michelle Obama's peeps expressed displeasure at the inappropriate nature of dolls named for her daughters, Malia and Sasha, the toy company caves and renames the play things Sweet Sasha and Marvelous Malia.
Oh, that's much better.
And the profits are going to charity. Way better.

Do you wanna lick Nicole Kidman or Cate Blanchett?
Of course you do. But Russell Crowe or Geoffrey Rush?
Yuck. Not so much.
I'm talking about stamps, people.

I don't hate Hilary Duff, but yes, Faye Dunaway has all the RIGHT (after all, she's an iconic actress with three of the best performances: Bonnie and Clyde, Chinatown and Network). Hilary Duff is an excellent PR but she's not a great singer or a competent actress.
Hilary Duff sounds like she has no class whatsoever.
That was below-the-belt. Why comment on Faye's looks when the system demands that women get work done after a certain age?
One day little Hilary will probably look crazier...
You should stop trashing hilary. Faye started it and she's just jealous that she's so old and can't be in her movie. Hilary rocks and ofcourse she can act.
I think everyone should just leave Joanquin P. alone. He wants to Rap so be it.
