President Barack Obama booted by Jessica Simpson's booty?
President Obama got bumped from Us Weekly by Jessica Simpson's rump?
"Yeah, it's a little hurtful," Obama joked when Matt Lauer showed him the new issue of Us Weekly, on stands now, featuring a portrait of his family.
"You got replaced by Jessica Simpson!" added Lauer, who talked with Obama before the Super Bowl aired Sunday on NBC.
"Who's in a weight battle, apparently. Oh well!" Obama said.
At least he's got a sense of humor and perspective about media coverage.
What do you think of the president's response?
And who would have thought that a leopard print belt and a few extra pounds could be more important to people than our new president? Was Us Weekly right about its choice?

Obama was just reading the cover of Us Weekly, the part that replaced his picture, which said Jessica Simpson's "Weight Battle."
He wasn't actually commenting on her weight.
How can I make a comment on anything if I hadn't first read it or heard it. He did comment on her weight.
I find it hard to believe the President of The United States would make any comment about the weight of anybody.
