Paula Abdul sours on 4th 'Idol' judge Kara DioGuardi
Paula Abdul is down on fourth "American Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi.
But it's not jealousy. No, really.
"Kara and I have known each other for years and we get along great," Abdul tells OK! "But we tried four judges before and it doesn't work."
Abdul is talking about Angie Martinez, who joined "Idol" as a judge before the second season but bailed before the season began.
Abdul says she knows from experience that an extra judge disrupts the show's flow.
Yeah, like Paula's ramblings don't do that already.

"It takes up so much time for each of us to give our opinion that it slows down the pace of the show," she says.
As for her future on "Idol," Abdul sounds uncertain. "It is the last season of my contract, and I have so many other things I want to do."

i think paula is right. it slows the show down. i watch the show mostly because of paula and her quirky kooky ways. no reason for a 4th judge. she does not fit in and dont care for her.
I like Kara. She actually knows what shes talking about... Paula on the other hand... if she knows what she is talking about half the time she doesnt sounds like it, she's the annouying one, and in my opinion if anyone is to leave I hope it's her
Don't like the new girl....she seems to be out of place and is trying to be something she is not....she acts like she is in charge....Kudos to Paula...I love her and her quirky ways....I wont watch it without her......
Kara actually makes sense, speaks in complete sentences, and answers questions when asked. Paula rambles on without a clue, refuses to give an opinion, and gushes on incoherantly. Obviously, Kara was brought on to replace Paula next season. A beautiful, talented, and intelligent woman to replace an over-the-hill, addled ex-popstar. Good call!!
Well I ABSOLUTELY agree with Paula, whom I love for her personality first and foremost..Simon for his brutal honesty....and Randy is just Kewl...but, I do not like this new Judge they put on there AT ALL.. I think she should run off and get married, and stick to writing songs..she did step in and just act like she was taking over, and to me she seems nothing but PHONEY!! If they don't get rid of her, and the show go back to the way it was..EVERYONE in my family agrees and we will not watch the show anymore..it just isn't the same with a SNOOTY ***** ON THERE..Simon does enough for all of them...And personally I don't think she is the bag of chips she thinks she is..and I laugh when she calls it as she see's it and all of the rest of them disagree with her.....just too darn sweet,,,'nuff said..ditch the witch...
I'm not crazy about Kara. I think she came in trying to "take charge" and at times upstage contestants (bikini girl). I feel she has to settle down and humble herself a bit instead of trying to be the "know it all- show it all". Hands down, I like Paula better!
kara is the best judge there. she is honest, she knows what she is talking about, and she answers the questions that she is asked. i think the show is much more interesting now. paula acts intoxicated half the time and she never tells the truth. go kara!!!
As much as Paula annoys me at times, I believe she adds a certain character to the show. She is the Yeng to Simons Yang. Kara came in to the show with the idea that she had to upstage everyone, be bolder than Simon and try to take over Paula's role. Not really working out, is it Kara?!!! To those who feel she knows what she is talking about, not so much. While she knows about song writring, I not so sure her expertise extends much beyond that. When Simon speaks, he is giving what he believes is an honest opinion. He knows what makes a hit and a star. While he may not always use the best tact, I love him for it. Noone can compare to Simon, he is in a league of his own. So Kara, Stop trying!!!When Kara lashes out at a contestant, she seems to be confrontational. She appears to be threatened by the young females to some degree. If Paula must leave next season, please have a third judge that is similar to her and ditch the fourth Judge. I just feel myself getting irritated when Kara speaks and feel she brings nothing to the show. I am a true idol fan but will probably stop watching if they keep her. She actually takes alot away from what is "American Idol".

Paula used to be my idol. Then wen her show that only lasted 1 season came out, I realized that she is so annoying& she never commits 2 anything. She promised her album would come last summer with her perfume line..... then she said oh they wil come out in September.... & u kno wat? they didnt com out @ all! then she was scheduled 2 perform on the veiw 4 3 months. a week b4 the scheduled performance, she cancelled. & lastly, on Jan 10 she said that her new song "boombox" wil fully com out in 3 weeks. it's been a month & 18 days & it still hasnt came out yet. Geez Paula, no one likes you, so stop trying 2 b somthin ur not 2 make them like u!
But then again, Paula & Simon hav great chemistry.& their bickering & flirting is 1 of the reasons y i watch the show so......

Yeah I dont care for Kara. I dont like the 4 judges thing either. If they are going to replace Paula they should get another 80's-90's pop star. Not someone we dont know at all. How about Debbi Gibson-lol no really someone like her ya know
